The staff was amazing so very helpful especially Mary! We loved the size of the room everything was so comfortable clean and great quality. The location was perfect we easily parked our cars felt safe to walk about Kittery and attend the show at Music Hall. We liked the outdoor sitting area too. Thank you we highly recommend and will return !

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean, handsome decor, close to restaurants, great location to walk into town! We liked how the room was laid out, with some privacy to the other bed. Would have liked chairs on the deck. Great pr8. Can't wait to stay again!

We had a great experience staying at Foreside Inn. The entire property was very clean and well maintained, and our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The self check-in process was extremely easy and convenient, making our arrival completely stress-free. Communication with the hotel was also excellent. Everything was clear, quick, and easy to follow. The location was another big plus. There are plenty of great local restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab a good meal without having to travel far. Overall, Foreside Inn was clean, convenient, well located, and very easy to deal with. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

The disappointment was deception in advertising. You should know there is NO staff. You check in with codes that you receive via text. It's a touchless, faceless experience. No common areas. Zero chance at any customer service. It's a new type of "hospitality" that is AI driven and has no personal interaction or touch. All tech. Photos make the rooms and facilities look bigger than they are. It very much reminded me of a college dorm. 3-4 stories but no elevator. Narrow halls and steps. I just ask for truth in advertising. I don't write negative reviews but I think people ought to know what they are getting. It is a great location if you want to walk to the small, cute village center of Kittery.

After a rough start trying to complete the online check-in form, which was required to get a door code. The form wouldn't accept a photo and thus wouldn't send. With no staff on site, it took multiple phone calls, email and messages trying to get hold of a human to assist, we eventually got it sorted. Once in the room it was very nice. Comfy bed, perfectly clean (brand new), great shower, and nice amenities in the room. The night was very quiet and it was an easy area to get around in.

Overall, the room was clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable and the location was great. There are a few areas where some simple improvements would make the stay much more enjoyable. Parking: There are only about 12 parking spaces available. If you’re not lucky enough to grab one, you’re left searching for street parking. This is stated on the their description of the property, but not the fact that if the parking lot is full, it's nearly impossible to turn around. Door access: The modern password locks are a great feature, if they worked properly. The roadside door didn't work with our code at all, leaving us to walk around to the back to use the other door. Lighting: I counted 23 light bulbs in the room. There is no way to dim the lights, either. It’s either bright enough to perform surgery or dark enough to see only the glow of the TV. Some adjustable lighting would go a long way toward creating a more relaxing atmosphere. Water pressure: I'm pretty sure the rain was harder than the pressure coming out. Allow extra time if needing to wash your hair. Outlets: modern outlets with USB would have been a nice touch. Storage: there is no where to unpack and store clothes. The dresser that is available is filled with extra pillows, towels, blankets. It's nice having those as extra, but it takes the space of allowing clothes to be. The place is beautiful, new and convenient. Just some small details would go a long way for guests.

Just a couple of minor issues like the door making loud banging noise if people doesn’t close them slowly and the sink was small but overall was a great place to crash after a long day of exploring! Bonus was how close it was to Lil’s bakery.

The hotel is modern and decorated nicely. If you are sensitive to strong cleaning odors this is not your place. I hope they will consider changing the type of cleaner they are using because other than that it is a nice hotel.

The property absolutely gorgeous!! An amazing outside area to sit and relax. Inside was beautiful and clean and new. The only complaint I have is our room was by the front door so we heard a lot of door slamming. Other than that it was perfect!
