"Enjoyed our stay, cabin was very clean and stocked with everything you need. The host stopped by while we were outside and introduced herself and husband. Enjoyed the wildlife (mule deer) and had a beautiful rainbow the first night and a gorgeous sunrise the next morning. "

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The night skies are SO dark and the stargazing was truly breathtaking. The house was very comfortable. The beds and linens were comfy and there were plenty of towels provided. The kitchen is nicely equipped for any meal, and we used it frequently as there aren't many restaurants in the area. I loved that each morning I could have coffee on the back porch, listen to the birds, and look out onto the mountains. This is a great place to stay if you are going to Davis Mountains State Park or McDonald Observatory. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Fort Davis. "

"This is a really cute spot! It’s at the base of some of the mountains. The road in is a little rough, so just go slow. The check in is automated but the staff communicates well thru email, text. The room is clean, spacious, and the open shared spaces are nice"
