Rooms were lovely and well decorated. Beds were really comfortable. The only downfall was dinner. We waited almost an hour for food and one meal arrived very cold. Shame as it looked good otherwise. The meal was removed from the bill.

Super friendly staff and a comfy stay
I was visiting Forres for a work event and needed a hotel nearby. The Carlton was lovely. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming; check in was a breeze. Comfortable Downton Abbey
Week rental with family and friends, all over 60. Kitchen great. Good showers! Nice grounds. Lots of sitting rooms but we stuck with one nearest kitchen- furniture a bit old with collapsed pillows and some scary kitchen chairs (tried to find some glue to fix).
