"The room was very comfortable and clean. And the staff very helpful. We were travelling and had to get up early so missed out on the breakfast. We did not take advantage of the spa facilities so cant comment on this. If we are in the area again we would stay here again. The only down side is there is not a restaurant onsite, we were given a list of places which was very helpful, the pub we chose was only 6 mins down the road in the car and was very welcoming and the food good."

"Everything about this hotel was great. Location perfect for theatre and town. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was superb - great variety to suit all tastes and constantly being replenished. "

"Lovely historic hotel, very pleasant and helpful staff, good food and bar, easy parking. All great. Only suggestion for improvement was brighter bedside lights for reading. But loved our stay!"

"PERFECTION IS HERE What a pleasant and beautiful location and place From the room to the food everything is so grande, yet at an affordable amount for all I am so impressed, even though I live up north near Leeds and am getting married early next year, I can truly say I when found my location for my queen Cannot appraise enough Staff are what make it and sorry have not mentioned yourselves but from the reception to the bar to the chef all great and excellent service and professionalism ❤️💯🫡 "

"Did not take up the 15£ breakfast option so I do not have an opinion on that. However staff took great care of our luggage as we visited the local sights and customer service was fantastic. "
