"What an excellent location! Right next to the beach, just down the staircase, and a short little walk to the Devils punchbowl. Also between Newport and Lincoln City. The caretaker was responsive and kind. Note staying here will involve stairs in the house and 97 stairs getting to the beach, and 97 back up. My mom counted lol"

"What a fantastic spot! We will DEFINITELY rent this place again. You are literally on the block before the parking lot. We geared up and walked to surf every day. The property was private and the dome was so cool. The kitchen is pretty basic but you can cook no problem. They're missing weird things like measuring cups and measuring spoons, but it wasn't a huge deal. Just bring what you need to cook your specific meals if you have certain kitchen utensils you like to use. The house gets HOT in the afternoon. It was mid 60s and really warm in there. But we opened windows and the deck door and it was fine. They provide multiple fans that move the air around nicely. Great bonus was a teeny view of the ocean from the deck AND the loft. Definitely loved our stay and can't wait to go back. "

"I booked a six person room with 4 confirmed occupants because I had 2 friends that were tentative. Without notice or renegotiating the agreement they changed it to a four person room. They would not acknowledge their unlawful discrepancy for several hours and multiple emails. My friends confirmed that they were going to be there, but after I informed them of the malfeasance of the lodge, they booked a different room. The motel eventually lived up to their end, but my friends had already booked another place. One star"

"The details to the property don't put into prospective just how nice it is. It is clean & quiet it is. The grounds were clean and felt safe. You have to park in the guest parking, but they do have transported to your room. We stayed in the Whale watchers suite and it provided us with a beautiful view if the ocean. This unit also provides a washer/drier combo. Very small supply of amenities. My only complaint was the pillows could be a lot better. They are small and very flat. Otherwise recommend this place for anyone. "
