Villorese Mansion is 5 stars all around. Probably the best location to stay, the apartment was very comfortable and clean. Everyone was very responsive. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Perfect location
Beautiful apartment just as pictured. A little tricky to find but was worth the hunt. Private and comfortable for the entire family.
The apartment is somehow even better then the pictures , the location is amazing VERY close to everything but peaceful , JUST on the other side of the river. The showers are amazing , the beds were perfect , big beautiful windows that can completely open to let in the fresh air from the river and park just outside. 1st class from start to finish , communication with host was instant through what's app. Nothing but positive things to say, we loved our stay in Florence and would return to this apartment in a heart beat.
Unfortunately, we only had a couple nights at this place due to our reserved VRBO canceling on us 2 hours before check in...but this was as most have left in reviews this place was newly remodeled, beautiful and spacious. Only issue we had was getting all our luggage up the steep stairs which was mentioned on the listing. Was still worth it! It's a perfect location across the bridge with many cute little cafe's close by.Can't wait to go back and stay here. Definitely 5 stars
Wonderful apartment in a perfect location to access all sights and flavors in Florence. Apartment was as beautiful and luxurious as pictured. Some small hiccups and wish there was more of a unit instruction manual to make the stay a bit easier (e.g., how do you operate the Heat/AC). When there was a small problem or need, the online link to the management team worked well and response times were quick. Overall, a great experience.

Pleasant stay despite poor communication and nighttime noise
Apartment very pleasant and as advertised. Did not hear anything from property management company regarding payment until we prompted them two weeks before arrival, leading us to wonder if we still had a confirmed reservation. Contacted VRBO twice regarding this and they said they could not get in touch with the property manager on our behalf. This was despite paying exorbitant service fee to VRBO. Once we did arrive, the property manager did provide very good communication and was prompt in replying to an electrical failure in the apartment. Apartment is an ideal location but located on a riverfront park that gets lots of nighttime use from unruly crowds. At one point a group of over 100 arrived at 5 AM with amplified music, preventing any sleep. Police finally arrived at 6:30 to break up the crowd. So be aware of this is not a bucolic setting. The whole additional €150 cash payment for a “cleaning fee“ is just kind of strange.
Communication with host was minimal at first and we were a little worried something was up. This listing mentions a deposit and then a second payment... neither of which happened and we were not charged until only 3-4 days before our arrival and that was a little stressful as we were flying in from Canada and didn't know if we would actually have a place to stay once we arrived. I did begin to receive emails from another external property management comapny and follow all of those emails, trusting things would be fine... and in the end they were. The overall charges were divided differently than described here, including having to pay the 'tourist tax' and cleaning fees in cash by leaving them on a table in the apartment... which someone entered the apartment when we were out for dinner to collect. This was odd for me and I don't know that I felt quite comfortable with this.. but we didn't have much choice otherwise.
The property is in a very good location and very close to the Ponte Vechio (less than 5 min.). Articles in the apartment are getting older and not as perfect or pristine as shown in the photos. The shower in the master bedroom was a little janky.. spitting and sputtering... they just need to replace with a new shower head. No instructions left for what to do with our garbage and empty wine bottles so we just left everything and hope that was ok (and I assume it was as we were not charged for anything extra later).
This place was fantastic. The location was great, it was so easy to get around Florence. We’ve stayed in numerous places in Europe and the bathrooms and bedrooms here were by far the best. Communicate with Martina was fantastic.
This apartment was wonderful! Perfectly located, plenty of space, and an amazing bathtub!! Checking in was easy and response was quick to any questions. I would love to stay here again.
Excellent property and communication. Needs New A/C units or maintenance
The place was awesome and the host was great. Only problem….It was 90 degrees everyday and the A/C couldn’t keep pace. We were pretty hot in the evenings which made sleep difficult. Great other than that!
The apartment and its location were perfect. However, we did have problems with the stay that keep us from giving a 5 star review.First, we had multiple emails with conflicting information on how to check in. One email was for the correct location, the other email was for the downstairs apartment (which we found was occupied when we tried to get in.)Second, once we located the correct apartment we found there was no key inside the lockbox... which caused a panic on our part. The staff promptly responded to us and let us know the cleaning crew did not arrive to clean up the apartment before our stay. The staff met us at the apartment and quickly arranged for the apartment to be cleaned while we went to dinner (and allowed our luggage to be stored). We are very thankful for the responsiveness of the staff.Third, the listing says there is a dryer. There is no dryer, only a washer. The only means of drying is a rack to hang your clothes. This wasn't a huge problem, but the listing should be corrected so that guests don't have the expectation they can dry their clothes. We would definitely stay again despite the problems.
The location if this place was perfect for us, in a quiet area but 5 -10 mins from the heart of things.
The only oddness was that as soon as you arrive there is an expectation that you will hand over close to $200 in cash, for city tax and ‘cleaning fee’. The other places we have stayed in Italy allowed us to pay for the city fee with our credit card (and didn’t charge a cleaning fee). We don’t carry much cash on us so when we didn’t have it upon arrival Sat afternoon, they showed up Sun morning to collect it, waking up me and my jet lagged family.
This is truly one of the most gorgeous places we stayed in Italy. The location is great, just across the River Arno and away from the madness of the city center. A lovely, quiet area that's still incredibly close to everything you could want to do. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, and the most stunning bathroom I've ever seen.
The only negative is a lack of clear communication from the host about payment. It was supposed to come out in two amounts - one month before and one week before, but didn't process until two days before. There was also some odd communication about the cleaning fee and city tax so I recommend asking for full clarification about when, how and who will be collecting that. Other than that I highly recommend! I also recommend checking out Grape Tours which is just a few minutes away for a fabulous tour of the Chianti region and having dinner at Brandolino for the best meal of your life. All incredibly close by!

Great location!! Clean!
The apartment was in an excellent location for visiting Florence. Looks out over a small garden area with benches to relax on and the river is in full view. Easy to walk everywhere. It was clean, quiet. Nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. Accurate description and pictures on website. However, based on other properties we stayed at, it was minimally stocked. We needed to buy TP and napkins during our 5 night stay. Would have been nice to have ample supply of those items.
Check in was not great and communication was poor. Management sent text instructions for entrance to the apartment, which was located on the 2nd floor (1st fl in Italy). Outside wall key pad to enter main door but they neglected to tell us that there was a lockbox up the stairs to enter the apartment. After about 30 minutes of trying to contact them, we flagged down a very nice guy that was able to help. He was able to call and at that point, they told us the code to the lock box. Very frustrating after traveling on an overnight flight and train from Rome.
Aside from those couple of minor details, the apartment was very nice and would stay there again.
Easy checkin and checkout, Riccardo was super responsive if there were any issues. Additionally, the location was perfect. Close enough to the action without being too engulfed by tourists. Highly recommend!
We had a lovely stay in this wonderful flat in Florence. The location is ideal for walking to tourist sites, the location is quiet sitting back off the main road, the rooms are large and comfortable. The only negative comment is we were expecting a washer and dryer but there was only a washer:

Gorgeous Apartment in Great Location
Beautiful apartment in a park setting on the river. High ceilings, great natural light, opulent baths, sleek kitchen. Check-in process could be smoother. Apartment could use more amenities (toiletries, paper towels, etc).

Excellent location
Location is very good, Ponte Vecchio is just up the road. Apartment is very clean and spacious. No vehicle is necessary as everything is very close. Don’t plan to park a car there. You must park in a parking garage which is located about six blocks away. Very easy walk from the apartment. Weather was very hot. Air conditioning in the apartment could not cool down the apartment.
This was my favorite accommodation of my trip. We had such a lovely time in Florence and I think part of that was this apartment. The apartment is beautiful, the bathrooms are very nice, and it is centrally located without being in too busy of an area. My only request would be more towels for the length of our stay and maybe another chair or love seat in the living room. But those small things would not prevent me from staying here again, we enjoyed it.
