Fantastic apartment, with beautiful views of the Florence skyline from every room, and 360 views on the roof terrace.
Fantastic location, with bakery, coffee shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep - yet the apartment is peaceful and quiet.
Check in and communication was excellent. If we come back to Florence, we'll definitely stay here again!
This apartment is a three minute walk from Ponte Vecchio and has a 360 view of Florence from a wonderful rooftop terrace. Perfect for our Florence stay.
When first booking this stay we had a hard time getting replies from the host and they didn’t reply until we involved VRBO. Beautiful location. A few stairs, but did have an elevator part way. Beautiful rooftop terrace but we couldn’t use it due to weather temps and accessibility (2 staircases away from main floor). No instructions for guests about lighting the gas stove or operating the AC. Be prepared to buy everything before you get there as there are very few amenities provided, not even a cloth or paper towel to clean the kitchen. Gross unidentifiable stuff in one teapot and one tiny moka for coffee—no kettle.
Overall the place was ok but will not recommend or stay there again.

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
This place had a little of each. First, the good. The view from the rooftop is pretty amazing. The location is also good. It's across the river from the center of the city but close enough to get to all points of interests in 10-15 minutes. Communication with owner and check in process was also good. The bad was the place was not particularly clean. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and a glass in the cupboard was also dirty. We ended up handwashing the silverware, plates and cups before using them. Also, we stayed in 6 different places on our travels through Italy and this was the only place to not provide at least a couple bottles of water. There were also no extra towels. It’s like the owner did the bare minimum and no extras. The ugly is that the sewer smell coming out of the bathroom was nauseating. We had to keep the bathroom door shut so that the whole apartment didn’t stink. We would not stay here again.
We chose this apartment for two reasons: the location, which is our favorite neighborhood in Florence; and the rooftop terrace, which offers panoramic views of the city. It did not disappoint. We had a lovely stay, and all of the amenities were as described. We enjoyed being just steps away from two great coffee shops, a terrific restaurant, an excellent sandwich place, and a small bar with specialty drinks. The apartment gave us adequate space to bring food and drinks back and enjoy them in the dining area or on the terrace. The kitchen/refrigerator were also fine for our stay. There is a grocery store near the Ponte Vecchio and we bought staples for our stay and kept them in the fridge. The washing machine as was also good, and our clothes dried within a day. A couple of tips: bring enough clothes (including pajamas) so that you are not without anything important for a day while they are drying. Also, you must be able to climb two small sets of stairs in the apartment to get to the upstair bedroom and then the rooftop terrace. We did not find this difficult at all. The elevator takes you to the third floor and you have to then climb two short sets of stairs in the buildings central stairhall to get to the apartment. Make sure you can carry your heavy luggage that far. I did let the host know that a coffeemaker and a toaster would go a long way to make the apartment more livable, but these were not a big deal for us. We also found the host and the caretakers very responsive.
The vrbo was beautiful and had stunning views of Florence. The roof top area was our favorite - the pictures listed don’t do it Justice. Would stay here again!
Apartment was absolutely stunning, easily fit 6 young adults. Air conditioning worked well, terrace was beautiful, and an amazing location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
Overall the property was wonderful. The check in process was very rushed and the agent didn't provide a ton of information. She seemed to be in a hurry. We were late but it was due to a delayed flight. There were not enough paper towels and no dishwasher soap. Otherwise the property and the view from the rooftop terrace were amazing.
We loved our stay in this property in Florence. Very comfortable and beautiful. The rooftop terrace has a fabulous view of the duomo. We were met at the property and given a tour and instructions. The property is near a gelato store that has been rated the best in Florence. Very central to everything! Would stay here again. No windows in Italy seem to have screens! I would suggest bringing bug spray. We did have a small issue with mosquitoes but I imagine its very bad in the summer. The unit does have air conditioning but we liked the cool night air! Thank you!

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Not a nice place, very hot
The description on the website is very misleading and not what was expected. It’s not a luxury place in the least. Air conditioning doesn’t work and even it did it wouldn’t have heated the place. It’s a couple of wall units that don’t work. Sheets were like sandpaper and only had one sheet on the bed. Drains were clogged albeit they did come fix that, but for me personally I’d choose a hotel in Florence before coming here.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
This property is marketed as a luxury apartment and is anything but. Upon arriving there was a foul smell coming from the bathroom and the owner told me to open the window that is was a common problem in Florence. There was a hole in the shower door and the water flooded out onto the floor. There were no comforters on any of the beds and the sheets they had on them had holes in them. The owner told me that they had no comforters available. The blackout shutters are broken and the list goes on and on. The owner had only excuses. So disappointing as this was my children's first trip to Florence.
This is a nice apartment, nicely kept and in a good location. We should mention that if your stay is for over a couple of nights, which would involve unpacking your bags, there is only one sort of space in the first floor bedroom where you could manage to hang some things as it is used as storage of unused furniture, cleaning items, etc. No drawer space there and in the upper bedroom nothing where to put your clothes. The stairs to the second bedroom and terrace are steep so if you have mobility problems or children, consider this as well. There is no place for disposal of the garbage in the building and you are instructed to take the garbage with you before vacating and deposit it in a plaza some blocks away. During the rental process and check in, communication was good, but once we were checked in, nobody answered our multiple text messages to the different phones we had previously used or that had been provided to us as to make any question or request - we needed them to provide us with real pillows as the ones in the apartment are a disaster. We only got a message excusing themselves for not replying hours after we had checked out...
