The Real Taste of Tuscany Apartment

A very special and unique apartment in the heart of the Oltrarno district in Florence located only few meters from Santo Spirito square in the quiet and peaceful Via Maffia.
On the ground floor of a small building the apartment is a 55 sq. loft with entrance, small veranda, living room with kitchenette and bar counter, sitting area with sofa bed, television with satellite, stereo for I pod , library, a corner Real Taste of Tuscany with specialties of Tuscan food, wine and artisanal handicraft we selected (on sale for our customers), double bedroom with bathroom with shower and a small utility room with appliances. Additional single bed available for the guests.
On request cleaning lady every 3 day, personal chef for unforgettable dinners & lunches and Tuscan cooking courses made by our chef personalized just for you.
At your arrival, you’ll find a welcome kit - selection Real Taste of Tuscany.

Perfect way to see Florence!

Veronica’s place is the ideal location just south of the river, away from the busy tourist bits but with plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy. The property is fun, different and was the perfect chill out spot for me and my husband. Veronica is also a great host, very helpful and gave us recommendations for dinner. Only (very small) downside is you can hear a lot from the street but it didn’t bother us - just bring ear plugs.

Oltrarno The Real Taste of Tuscany Apartment

My sister and I stayed March 29 - April 2 2019 Beautiful Place, close to everything, well stocked and in good condition. The only issue was that the street is busy and noisy, however we brought earplugs which solved this issue. Otherwise our stay was very good. I would recommend this place. k & k California

Great location and great advice to try and walk where people live outside of tourist / district and the pizza recommendation was fantastic!!! It would be great if there was another means to enter property independently but understand the challenges!! I would stay again. There was a 30 euro housekeeping fee that was not mentioned on VERBO that the host is following up on..so never fun to have an unexpected charge upon arrival of course we supported the host and paid. Just thought customers should be aware but don't let this keep you away from this very convenient and cute apartment.

Most charming flat in Florence

Veronica made this stay pure magic. I can’t wait to come back and stay for a full month! I shed literal tears to have to leave this cozy flat near the quaintest square. Good food close buy, so close to walking to all the attractions. I almost didn’t leave this review because I don’t want the whole world to know about this gem.

Veronica was great to work with, so welcoming and helpful. The apartment was perfect for a few days in Florence! Clean, quaint and a wondetful location with restaurants, Bars and markets close by. I would recommend for couples that are going to Florence for a few days.

great location. nice apartment. perfect for two.

enjoyed our stay in Veronica's flat in Florence. the apartment is on the south (quieter)side of the river. A short walk across one of several bridges to the main attractions. Ufizzi, Academia, etc. All within 15 min. Lots of fine restaurants, groceries, close by. 15 min to the train station. a church just up the street had opera selections on while we were there. first class...a real treat. The kitchen was fully equipped, although we never used it. too many great outdoor restaurants! lots of hot water. super shower pressure. small things: the shower curtain was hard to seal and covered the drain if not carefull. we wound up mopping a flood one morning. it was hot while we were there. cooling fans (no air cond) were necessary. the fan in the living room had a broken oscillator and made an annoying noise. we had to jury rig it to make it quiet. time for a new one. All in all, we would definitely stay again if we get back to Florence.

Great apartment in Florence! Amazing location and Veronica is incredible!! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to visit Florence. The only thing that wouldve made the stay better would have been air conditioning as it was a little hot at night.

Veronica is the nicest host we have ever encountered. She is very knowledgeable about the area (she writes guidebooks!) and she gave us excellent recommendations about dining sightseeing etc. The apartment is clean and equipped with everything that you need for a comfortable stay, down to the smallest detail. The location is convenient to everything - train bus museums restaurants and wine bars. S'ant Agostino restaurant half a block away has wonderful food and excellent service. For a "real taste of Tuscany", look no further and stay here!

wonderful location!

We loved our stay at "The Real Taste of Tuscany Apartment". Veronica was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us all of the important things about the apartment as well as made some wonderful recommendations on nearby places to visit and even gave us one of her guide books! We loved the location, it was close to everything, which was great for all of the shopping we did (it made it easy to swing by and drop off more stuff). The apartment was clean and adorably decorated. I would recommend it to friends and family if they were looking for something close to all of the major sites.
