Very nice and spacious apartments. We had a unit with a shared patio. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a quick 10 min tram to city centre. Cafe’s and restaurant is just a 2 min walk.

I was not able to stay at this property. The unit I was assigned was not as pictured. The sofa bed was not a sofa bed it was a chair bed and the mattress was thin as cardboard. I was place in a unit on the ground floor, my preference would have been a room on a higher floor but I was told all rooms were taken. Upon entering the room, I checked the doors leading out to the terrace. The doors did not lock! When I presented my concerns to Simona at the front desk, she was rude and did not offer any solution. She wanted me and my family to stay in the room until another potentially became available. My family and I were in a foreign country and we were not willing to risk our safety. We had to leave this property immediately for one that was safe and suitable.

I spent two nights at this hotel, which was a very special experience for me. I had paid the full amount in advance, but upon check-in, the staff informed me that I needed to pay extra for my child. Despite having already paid an additional charge for my son as indicated on my receipt, they issued a separate invoice for 80 euros. On the second day, I requested additional towels from the front desk. The staff member rudely informed me that there would be an extra charge for the towels, stating, 'We do not provide housekeeping services like other hotels!' These two incidents made me feel uncomfortable and dissatisfied. As a result, I hurriedly checked out on the morning of my last day.

Dear Jaesun, we are sorry that your experience was not as exepected.There are some incorrect information: you booked for two adults and a 1 one year old child but your child was 14.We had to provide a bigger room as the original room you booked was with a baby bed that of course could not host a 14 year old kid.You paid only the upgrade and the city tax for you and the kid.We provided the receipt for what you paid. The original reservation which was not correct was already paid through expedia and if you check again your reservation you will see that what we are saying is true.One of the rule of our property which is also written online is that the cleaning and change of towels is not every day so there is an extra to pay if you want this service.We are very sorry for the misundesratndings.

Spacious nice apt decent beds add on fees
Spent 4 nights in Florence so preferred an apt with the option of making some meals, washing some clothes, stretching out. Nice apartment, full of light, spacious, pleasant,, good shower, kitchen had all needed, bed comfortable, WC good & language setting on the TV switches shows to original lang. Bakery, restaurants, market within 5 min. Excellent communal areas: really nice interior courtyard & very nice lounge (good for big groups!) Staff were friendly, welcoming. However, some things that should be noted: (1) 5-10 min farther out from the historic center than we would have liked. If you're a walker, not bad. Coming from airport or train or bus easy to reach via the tram system: 2 blocks from the building. But it's a 20 min walk to he heart of the historic area, not easy to go back for a quick rest between activities. The walk at night isn't great (not very bad, just not great) Check Google Maps for where you'll want to spend time. (2) We got a unit with a kitchen: be aware (unique in our experience!) they charge 28 Euros for using the kitchen! Does not appear in the description, only in the fine print in the fees list (along with the parking fees) They waived the fee after discussion, because 4 nights? But if you're only staying for 2-3 nights, be aware of the extra euros you'll pay. (3) Laundry facilities are available - we didn't use them as the fees for the washer & dryer were higher than other places we've stayed and didn't need it as we'd just had that elsewhere.

Our apartment didn’t have a stove top that was promised in the Expedia description or a full sized fridge. Lots of mosquitos in the hallway and elevators that made their way to the room.

Nice apartment. Very spacious with King size bed, kitchen, and a little balcony. Very close to REDI tram stop. Easy to get to/from Santa Maria Novella train station/downtown. Don't wait in line for a taxi for 12 euros take the T2 tram to REDI stop for 1.7 euros! Then a 4 minute walk to Popartment. Easy to drag your luggage along those sidewalks too. Trams stop is to the right when you exit the train station. Girl at the desk was informative as well. Highly recommend!

Enjoyable stay
We truly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is impecable, very comfortable and rhe staff is friendly and welcoming. The lady at reception speaks Italian in such an animated way that even if you don't speak a word of it you can understand everything she says. The location is outside the tourist area but 3 stops by tram will take you there in no time.

It’s clean place, there’s tram station across the place so you can take that to go to main Florence train station or city Center (10 mins) some bathroom lights weren’t working but we didn’t bother complaining as it’s not big issue for us. It’s a good alternative for anyone who doesn’t want to splurge on high end hotels. One tip to future customers: call the hotel directly and confirm your reservation as we had a hiccup there, Expedia didn’t notify them or some miscommunication that we almost didn’t get the room however Popartment had one room available so gave it to us. Other than that it’s a good place to stay . Also, confirm whether kitchen is allowed to be used for free or if there’s extra charge .

Great hotel, huge rooms, perfect for 2 couples with 2 separate bedroom spaces. One in the main area, one upstairs. Easy access to tram to go to the city centre, train station or airport. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great value - highly recommended!

This is a small family (guessing) hotel. Not luxurious, but has all you need and location is only few stops from the old Florence and the SMN train stationand close to the tram stop. It was clean.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Popartment during my visit to Florence, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. After paying closer attention to the GPS, we drove right up to the building. There was parking available for our personal vehicle. We had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment with a pull-out sofa to accommodate the people in my family. The room was clean with 2 air conditioning units. We felt very safe in the building and the room. We chose to have the breakfast, delicious croissants with your choice of drink. They were delivered to our room! As far as getting to the big highlights of Florence, you are about 200 meters from the tram to take you into the city center. It could not be easier. Honestly, if we get back to Florence, PopArtment would be my first choice in hotel. Quiet neighborhood and fabulous front desk staff in the evening and the morning.

Second time staying here and it was disappointing due to the cleanliness. Large blood stain on the sheets was kind of a shock. Bed sheets were nicly made so the housekeeping made the bed knowing that there was a 4" diameter blood mark. They did change the sheets quickly, but still not good. I will not be returning.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. Please be advised that the blood stain, as we explained was composed of fresh blood. You called us in the morning to change the sheets which we obviously did promptly. The fresh stain was only 1 centimeter in diameter so clearly it could not have been there when the bed was made.

Very clean property, very spacious and comfortable apartment and very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay there. There is only one washer for the entire property and it is only opened from 830am to 1030pm, so if others want to use it as well, it might be difficult to do your washing (although we did not run into this problem). The property is a bit far from the city center (20min by foot) but the tram is really close. Overall, it is a good place to stay as it has a lot to offer.

Travelled with our 3 kids and stayed for 3 nights. Very pleasant and comfortable stay. Our appartment had a very large room with a huge bed, a second room with a single bed and a couch that converts into a bed in the living room. We had a kitchen and a table to eat breakfast in the appartment. We also used the washing machine and dryer in the building. Staff was pleasant and helpful. There is a tram stop just a few minutes away. Would stay there again for sure

Average property. I expected much better accommodation for the price I paid. If I compared this with the other properties I stayed at it was lacking some services. My stay in Italy was fantastic, I travelled and visited a couple of medieval towns. However, this property did not fulfill my expectations . Neighbouring property staff wakes you up around 3 a.m. in the morning with trolleys banging outside as they are bringing clean bed linen for nearby hostel.Reception Staff should speak better English as this is a crucial aspect to communicate clearly and effectively. I would advise everyone to find something more cheaper and closer to the Center as this will be more beneficial for the tourist . I was originally planning to book a different property nearby city Center . However, it was sold out. Please book your trip earlier as you will have better options to choose the right accommodation matching your requirements .
