The staff was amazing! Andrea, Anup and I can’t remember the dark haired girls name. Everyone was so kind and took great care of us! So warm and welcoming. It was a great area and so quiet at night. The only thing I would say is please add a dresser to room number 6. There is a wardrobe but a dresser with drawers is needed. Also, the hot water handle constantly leaked and pooled water around the handle. Other than that, amazing staff!!! GRAZIE!

Tuscan travels
Palazzo Guicciardini is a beautiful property. Our room was exactly as described on the website and was so lovely, comfortable, and spacious. The hotel has only 8 rooms and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is fabulous for walking everywhere. We were not driving a car so we didn't have to deal with the parking, which was a great bonus. Definitely recommend this hotel.

This was an incredibly beautiful hotel right in the middle of Florence. The staff was super helpful, the breakfast was wonderful and it was great to be able to walk everywhere. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.

We had a excellent time in this Hotel boutique. We got a great suite very ample and very clean. We loved our room and the frescos on the walls. Nicolo the concierge was more than friendly and extremely helpful.There are only 8 rooms so there is not noisy around the halls. We loved and enjoy our stay very much.

This hotel room was beautiful! Probably the largest room I’ve ever seen in Europe. We had a junior suite and it was perfect. Ours was a 4 night stay but this room would be perfect for a honeymoon stay. Will definitely stay the next time I’m in Florence.

Luxurious base in the heart of Florence
Perfect base for exploring Florence, it’s like staying in a live-in museum. The huge ceilings surrounded by frescoes are a real gem, and all of the staff are super friendly and attentive. We will be back!

The location is perfect, walking distance to old town and most of the tourist atractions. Hotel looks good is well maintained. My room was big and quiet but the nice ceiling was only in the lobby not in the bedroom. Two of the double rooms are located directly in the restaurant/kitchen (rooms 4,5 and 6 have the door directly in the restaurant). The breakfast is low quality for a boutique hotel, the juce should have been natural orange and the omlette seem made of flakes not real eggs.

Historic Palazzo with rooms with painted ceilings. Breakfast included. Too small for a bar. Very helpful staff with good English. Santo Spirito Piazza just round the corner, and Ponte Vecchio only a few hundred yards.

Pros : Room was clean and big. Staff was helpful. Location was walkable. Cons : The hotel entrance was quite spooky and wierd. There was a big gate then door and a empty corridor you climb the stairs and then you will find reception area. The room had these painting all over the wall and ceiling with some wierd scenes and they made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Washroom had some stairs going up to nowhere... Again wierd. Apart from this the breakfast was ok ok. Not very good as a 4 star should have. I found it a bit overpriced.

This is an amazing place .Great staff , particularly Nicolai on reception , gave us a great map with all the sights and recommended a very good restaurant nearby . The room are very good with painted ceiling s .we would highly recommend and will be visiting again .

The hotel is beautiful. The junior suite is magnificent and the stay very comfortable. Finding parking on the road whilst waiting for the car pickup was difficult, however this is to be expected in Florence. Would highly recommend.

Really bad choice, dirty and horrible management
This place looks nothing like the photos. It is very gloomy inside. On our first night here the bed sheets were absolutely filthy, the was dirt/sand on the sheets and brown marks and they smelled awful! It was late at this point and when we notified at the front desk gentleman about this issue he did not have clean sheets for the bed, so instead he put a comforter over the sheets for us to lay on. Given that it was late at night and we had no other option we just laid on top of the bed with our clothes on and I still woke up with a rash on my ankle and leg. I called hotels.com to cancel the reservation so we can go somewhere else and salvage the rest of our trip but no one ever got back to us. The manager of this Palazzo refused to reimburse us and since everything was paid in full we were going back-and-forth with hotels.com to find a solution. We booked five nights at palazzo Guicciardini and could not afford to say goodbye to all of that money so our only option was to bank on hotels.com to resolve this or the manager to get back to us, and in the meantime we slept with their clothes on, on top of the sheets, although at this point the house made a short us that she gave fresh sheets. However at this point we were already completely turned off as this place is not up to quality standards whatsoever. To top it off the bed is extremely uncomfortable and the bathroom floods every time you take a shower so the floor is slimey and disgusting. This place is just bad

Kind staff and great location
The staff members here were so kind and helpful. From making coffee to take back to my room at all hours to coordinating dinner reservations, they did it with a smile. The hotel is like staying at a friend's house. All the rooms are right off the breakfast room or lobby...but interestingly we never heard a peep from anyone! The frescoes in our room were really cool to see...original to the building...just amazing. The bathroom was nicely redone and the room was comfortable. The location is great because you're a couple of blocks over the river to the center of the tourist area but this area feels more local. Excellent restaurants nearby and beautiful shopping. Great place to pretend you are a classic Florentine citizen.
