The apartment is located in the Oltrarno district, opposite the Porta di San Frediano.
Oltrarno, also known as "Diladdarno", is located on the left side of the Arno river, and is part of the historic center of Florence. It includes famous neighborhoods such as Santo Spirito and San Frediano.
Monuments, gardens and palaces unique in the world, such as Palazzo Pitti, the Basilica of Santo Spirito, the Boboli garden with the workshops of artisans, goldsmiths and restorers, make this area the place where old Florence still lives.
Located on the second floor (third floor in the American system) without lift, the apartment offers its guests an intimate and youthful atmosphere. This apartment offers many services and spaces that meet the needs of those who want to feel at home even away from home.
Four bedrooms: three spacious bedrooms that can be used with two single or one double bed and one more bedroom with a comfortable single bed (1.2 m). Two bathrooms: one with a bathtub, shower, bidet and sink, dryer, washing machine and iron, the other a full bathroom with shower, sink and bidet and also equipped with an anteroom with two sinks and hairdryer. A bright living room with LED TV, home theater, CD - DVD player with a small collection available for guests, two comfortable sofas, a fully equipped kitchen and a large table that will allow you to enjoy moments of relaxation.
All bedrooms are air conditioned. Free internet WI-FI is everywhere!
Parking in the garage nearby with discounted rates (opening hours 8-24). Paid parking not reserved on the street. Ask in advance for details.
The apartment is easily accessible by car, because just outside the ZTL camera (limited traffic zone), by public transport (you can take only one bus) or on foot 10-15 minutes from the central station of Santa Maria Novella.
The apartment is equipped with a hand sanitizing dispenser located at the entrance.
The initial cleaning of the apartment will be carried out by well-trained operators on all the required health procedures.
Ponte Vecchio is about a 15 minute walk along the river. From the "Soderini" stop, five minutes on foot, you can take the bus to reach Piazzale Michelangelo, one of the best tourist sights in the city.
The tourist tax is to pay cash on arrival. Its amount depends on the age of the guests and the length of the sta, and is not included in the price.

Very comfortable place. We were 6 adults plus a seven month old baby and the appartment was perfect!!Location is amazing. Very close to many restaurants and food market, coffee places, train station and city center.Host was avaible quickly when we communicated with him.Overall a very nice stay in this place

Fabulous host and property manager. Communicated swiftly and allowed us to check in and check out our luggage outside of stated times which was great! The apartment is situated south of the river in oltrano, a far less touristy part of Florence but full of vibrant bars and restaurants and small shops. Plenty of places to eat locally alongside many Italians who eat there too! Only a 15 minute walk from the train station and 20 minutes to ponte vecchio. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful spacious well equipped flat

Excellent stay, close to everything with every needed amenity. Extremely spacious with more than enough room for our large group of 5. Well decorated, two large bathrooms, washer and dryer. We appreciated the coffee and house book. Highly recommend!!

Great Stay....

We had a fantastic stay in this wonderful apartment. The location was perfect - we were surrounded by fantastic dining options and could easily walk to all the major tourist attractions. The apartment itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But the highlight was definitely the host. Their communication was excellent throughout our stay, and they were incredibly helpful in making sure we had a memorable holiday. We couldn't be happier with our experience

Beautiful place to stay in Florence

We had a lovely 2 day stay at this apartment. It has a small neighborhood feel but is just a 15 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio. Andrea is VERY attentive to all details (even providing excellent parking advice) and the apartment is clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the 6 of us and a washer/dryer to boot. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved this place

Great Apartment

The apartment was exactly as described. We were met by Sibilla who was lovely and showed us everything. The apartment is across the river but we liked that it was away from the crowds. Andrea and Sibilla are very responsive and very accommodating. Would not hesitate to recommend this the place and if we went back to Florence would definitely stay here again.

Spacious apartment in great area

We spent 5 nights in this lovely apartment. Good size bedrooms, lots of amenities and fabulous introduction and walk through of the apartment when we arrived. Good restaurants and shops close by, but still close to the other side of the river and attractions. Would recommend.

I can't say enough good things about our stay; the apartment was just what we hoped it would be. Our host had everything ready for us when we arrived and a binder full of information about the area and the apartment. We had a party of 6 adults and stayed for 11 days in May 2025. It was the perfect location! There was a bakery across the street, a grocery store around the corner, a bus station close by, and a gelato shop we would stop for a snack on our way back to the apartment every afternoon. It is on the 3rd floor, and the stairs were manageable even after being on our feet all day sightseeing. So many wonderful restaurants in close proximity for walking that we ate at most of them twice for dinners during our stay. We did not have a car for this trip and used public transportation the entire stay. The bus routes were easily learned and very economical. We were able to plan side trips out of the city thanks to the proximity to the main train station. The apartment was spacious, clean, had a washer and dryer, and the a/c worked beautifully for cooling off. We all agreed that if we ever returned to Florence, we would book again for all the amenities. Thank you, Andrea for a fantastic vacation in Florence Italy!

Loved Everything / great stay

The communication with owner and staff was so smooth. Very responsive to all of our questions or concerns. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant in their clean, well stocked unit. Felt very secure, fresh vegetable/fruit market right next door, coffee shop nearby, grocery store 2 blocks away - close proximity to bridges that cross Arno River to get to buses / train station or center of Florence. Would definitely recommend.

Florence Without the Fuss

There are many pleasant surprises in this quiet neighborhood and the bus connections are excellent in case the short walks to attractions don’t work for some in your party. Old guys, we found everything we came to see in a Florence within a half hour walk. Our taxi driver from the airport spoke with affection for this quarter, and we could see, even in winter, the appeal. These are very large bedrooms by European standards and the place is clean and orderly. It feels spacious.

A generously spacious apartment close to the heart of Firenze but far enough to allow some peace and quiet. Fantastic Apartment in a great location !

This apartment is ideal for groups and families who do not want to stay in the City Centre which is only a short 15-20 minute walk away. There were 6 of us we loved the spacious kitchen/diner area where could all relax around the table or on the comfortable couches. All the bedrooms are also very bright and we had no problems sleeping although there is some traffic noise if youre in the room overlooking the road. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone !

The Porta San Frediano apt had a fantastic location! Easy to find, a coffee shop right downstairs, great restaurants close by even a bus stop and a children’s playground near us! Andrea was very responsive, as was Sabila, the property manager. It was a great place for a family vacation. Andrea was super helpful as we were arranging the trip details. And there are QR codes to show you how to use everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Florence trip

We booked this apartment for a week-end in Florence to celebrate my birthday. The apartment was simply amazing ! We had a very warm and fast welcome with a good explanation of the functioning of everything. We had absolutely no problems concerning anything, the beds were comfy, the apartment was very spacious, well located and the check out time was flexible. It was simply perfect, I 100% recommend it. Tuscan Adventure

We had a fantastic stay in the apartment - ideally located as it was far enough away from the busy centre but close to all the sights. The apartment had all the necessary amenities, plenty of advice & instructions. Property manager was very efficient & helpful if required. Overall, a great holiday with loads to do, great food, friendly people and fantastic weather - far too warm for us Scots people though !
