Central Firenze Location

The location was awesome! It was central to Firenze - we could walk everywhere we wanted to go - including the Piazza del Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio, and the Uffizi Gallery. The apartment is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is on the 4th floor (74 steps/no elevator). We didn't prepare any food there, but it seemed that there were no basics such as cooking oil. It has two bathrooms. Host was very responsive in helping us check-in and out.

Renter beware

I arranged an early check in, and they were somewhat helpful with that. Plus Samer carried my suitcase up the stairs. But nowhere in the online description was there information that this was at the top of 4 flights of stairs and no elevator. That was the second bad thing. The first was the location: not ideal for a solo woman traveler. The third was the decor. I understand that Italians have different opinions about nudity, but they could have chosen other artwork to put on the wall in the hallway: fruit, angels, scenes of Italy, etc. But instead there are borderline indecent pictures. Perhaps not quite pornigraphy, but I definitely would not let young children stay there. I stayed long enough to use the wifi to book another hotel room and then left. The only reason this was a 2 star instead ofone is because they worked with me for an early check in and the place was clean.
