Elegant apartment located in Via dei Calzaiuoli, one of the most important streets in the historic center of Florence. The house is located in a very central position a few meters from the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi.

Giotto Elegant is located on the fourth floor (with elevator) of a beautiful historic building with a bright living area with kitchen, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of which is complete with shower).

Recently completely renovated, the apartment can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 guests (there are two double beds and a double sofa bed) and has been equipped with everything necessary to guarantee a comfortable stay in Florence. Here you will have air conditioning, independent heating and everything you need for cooking.

Center of town. The dome is about a 3 min walk and so many shops/ restaurants. The space has an elevator, great for luggage. Spacious rooms and nice shower.

This apartment was on the best street in Florence! It was central and surrounded by everything you could need. We walked to all of the main attractions including the main train station. The apartment was clean and spacious.

We found this to be a great place for us. Bright, clean, nice bathroom, spacious for two. We ate out so no problem with cooking. Loved the location! During the day lots of people passing; at night it quieted down and we could stroll to the Duomo. Loved hearing the bells chime. Thank you!

Florence gem

The location of this property couldn’t have been better, and it was just as described. It was easy to communicate with property manager which was good because we initially had a hard time finding it. They were quick to supply some missing elements like wine glasses and graciously brought an iron too. It is an updated property with great AC! It would have been nice to have some sort of armoire or even hooks on the wall to hang some cloths, but otherwise a great property that I would recommend.

Dirty, there was a bandaid left on the window in the bathroom, no warm water on the first full day there. The maintenance guy I was chatting with on WhatsApp explained that the water heater was shared with the other apartments on that floor. Location was fine.

Difficult to find but great apartment and location.

Great location but difficult to find. I was unaware the building has two numbers associated with it and when I finally spoke with someone I was told the location was a few blocks away. I still couldn't locate the apartment so I called again and i was told it was the orginally place I found. It may not have been as bad if it wasnt raining while dealing with luggage and my parents who are in their 70's. The location directions should include nearby businesses or hotels. However, once we finally got into the apartment everything was great. And of course the location was great.

Great location in the middle of city center

We loved the location of the apartment that was beautifully remodeled. It had all the convenience necessary but main shower head did not work, even with instructions, just the hand shower head. AC was set on a temperature and we could not make it colder. Main bedroom Ac seemed not to work as well as the bide on the top floor. We asked for more pillows and blankets and we didn’t get any. We called for Ac adjustment and shower and didn’t get anyone to come. For two days it was great but more dates we needed more amenities. Location was the best.

Fabulous in Florence!

My family and I just returned from 12 days in Italy (4 days here in Florence). What a wonderful flat! Admittedly, we did not cook because the food in Florence is incredible, but the stay was very comfortable! The location of this flat is unbeatable-in the heart of the old city steps from the Duomo and shops. The flat is surprisingly quiet since it sits just above the bustling part of the city. The neighborhood is so safe with plenty of gelato and coffee shops nearby. We appreciated having a lift to get us to the 4th floor after long days of walking the museums and city streets. They allowed an early check-in for us (as available), and provided us extra towels when we reached out to the host. Communication was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this flat. We are a family of four (2 older teenage daughters) and there was plenty of space for us for our stay. Clean, safe, ideally located--recommend!

Great city location, but not if you have car

If your goal is to stay in the city, walk the piazza's and are coming by public transportation with light bags. This is a great location and option. However, we had a car and dropping the family close to apartment and finding parking was an extreme hassle. Also with 2 weeks of luggage the streets are all cobblestone. Not easy. Keep that in mind. No self check in. You have to meet someone. He was running from apartment to apartment so timing our challenge getting there with his limitied availability was also a hassle. Flat was spacious and comfortable. (Except early morning bells but thats not in control of renters) just bring ear plugs unless you are an earl bird.

The apartment was in a good location, within walking distance to most things we water to see and do. The apartment was clean but not well stocked. We could not get the stove top to work and the electric kettle stopped working after day one. The upstairs room only had a sky light so it got warm at night even with a fan. It did have a half bath. The downstairs had an air conditioner so it was fine. The rain shower head in this bathroom, the only one in the apartment, did not work but the hand held did. The shower door leaked if you were not careful. Over all it was not a bad stay just not great.

Great location

Our family of four stayed at this property in June of 2024. The location of this property is great, in the heart of beautiful Florence. The property is several floors up, with access to a small lift. The person that helped us with check in was very kind and flexible, as we visited during the rail strike and it complicated transfer from the airport. She was very understanding and patient and was kind enough to give us late night food recommendations when we arrived. The room itself is suitable. Could use some updating. The upstairs bed only had bed sheets - no blanket. We had some troubles with the WiFi in the room, which rendered the smart TV useless for us on our first evening but we were able to resolve on our second day. The air conditioning worked reasonably well during the hot days. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have preferred but the location of the property made me willing to tolerate the lack of perfect comfort. Overall happy we stayed here for the location itself.

Beautiful apartment in an incredible location!

As a family we absolutely loved this apartment. Its location makes it an excellent point to explore the beautiful city of Florence. A stones throw from the main Duomo (the bell tower can be seen from the window) you can’t really get any more central. From the quite and peaceful apartment you walk out onto the streets of Florence and straight into the hustle and bustle and can begin exploring all Florence has to offer. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. There is one bathroom for the two bedrooms ambit an en-suite toilet in the second bedroom. It was clean and all the necessities were provided. The shower was powerful and the towels soft and luxurious. We did not use the kitchen area but there is enough in the apartment to make a small meal or have breakfast if you so wish. City supermarkets are close by. The decor is stunning and the high wooden ceilings are lovely. Checking in was easy and O who met us at the apartment was attentive and made sure we were settled and secure before leaving. He was so friendly and a real credit to the owners. A beautiful apartment in a wonderful location. Thank you so much for the stay!

Flummoxed in Florence

The positives: great size, comfortable appartment in a sensational position. The negatives: communication with owner and check in process was poor at best. Despite numerous rounds of communication with the owner regarding checking, even right up to the morning prior of our arrival at the confirmed time, we arrived to find the apartment still in the process of being cleaned and we were told could we go for a coffee for an hour and come back. We couldn’t do this as we had to change immediately for an event, where we were then bundled into one of the bedrooms that were ready to get changed. By the time we came out the cleaners had gone, taking one of the set of keys with them. We arrived home after our event and had to make up the other bed and find the linen/blanket. We tried numerous times to get the second set of keys from the owner but never received them. In fact the customer service was poor. There was no nowhere you could hang shirts or suits, suit jackets.
