Penthouse Amendola is a tastefully renovated, exclusive holiday home for a maximum of 10 guests. It is perfect for a large family or a group of friends. Explore the cultural treasures of Florence together.
Thanks to its central location on the edge of the historic center, you can reach the Duomo, other famous sights, elegant shopping streets and top Florentine restaurants in just a few minutes walk.
The beautiful penthouse apartment is located on the 5th floor of a building in the style of Italian rationalism and can be reached by elevator except for a few steps in the entrance area.
If you come by car, there is a public underground parking directly across the street or, even better, only about 200m away, a paid garage that can be reserved in advance..

A bright and spacious living-dining room awaits you in the 180m2 large, elegant holiday apartment. The large window front provides a magnificent view of the cathedral. A nice sitting area invites you to linger. From here there are a few steps leading to the living and TV room on the rooftop terrace level. The 110m2 terrace has two nice dining and sitting areas, with magnificent "almost" all-round views of Florence. On the western side, the silhouette of the cathedral, “il Duomo” can be seen above the roofs, as well as the bell tower of Santa Croce. On the opposite side, the view sweeps far into the surrounding green hills and Fiesole.

The rooftop terrace, equipped with oleander, bougainvillea and many green plants, invites you to relax after a day full of impressions. Enjoy the magical panorama and let the day end with a glass of Chianti and the anticipation of the next day.

Perfect location!

Easy walk to the city center and attractions, but away from the hustle and bustle. In a small neighborhood with all you need within a very short distance. Pictures do not do it justice! Rooftop terrace with great view was a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Florence!

Beautiful Home and Great Location

Six of us stayed here while visiting Florence. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. The outdoor space is an amazing place to hang out and enjoy the view. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time at Amendola penthouse! Beautiful, large with amazing views. Easy to walk into downtown. Everything was about a mile away or less. Best cappuccino at Cafe Lorenzo next door!

Beautiful view and terrace

This property is beautiful! It is very spacious and was perfect for our extended family. We loved sitting around the large dining room table and on the terrace. The views are stunning and the terrace is huge and wraps around allowing for multiple views of Florence. The bathrooms are very large for European standards and felt newly remodeled. The location is great and we walked everywhere. The host was very helpful with recommendations and communicating. I would highly recommend this property.

Penthouse Amendola is a fabulous apartment. Great location within walking distance of Duomo Complex and museums. Views of Brunelleschi's Dome from the apartment. The outdoor terraces are wonderful. Host was responsive and helpful to me as I had questions planning our trip. Highly recommend!!

Wow!!! Old world charm with modern amenities

This is by far one of the most incredible place we have rented. The place was a lot larger than expected, beautifully furnished, the roof top deck had an amazing view & the extra family room was spacious. The place was in a great area, easy walk to old town Florence. The service was amazing to work with & even got checked out by a family member. We will be back!!

The residence was excellent. If anything it's much larger than the images make it out to be. Location is very convenient. The roof is quite nice, although the main seating area doesn't face the historic downtown, which is a bit too bad (there's a second table that does, which also nice but seats fewer people).

This property was fabulous and was perfect for 7 adults +. Very clean and upgraded and classy. The rooftop was absolutely incredible with sunset views of Florence and the Duomo. We ate outside at the table on the rooftop several times during our stay - best family dinners and memories made! The surrounding neighborhood had plenty of restaurants and fun places to visit. Felt very safe. I would highly recommend this lovely paradise!

Perfect for a large group

This property is stunning - a perfect place for a large family. We stayed for 4 nights leading up to a wedding in Florence. The outside deck is absolutely perfect with outstanding views. The surrounding neighborhood is full of great restaurants, grocery stores, and easy access to the center of Florence. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the main attractions - we found the location to be ideal. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a large group. The check in and communication was flawless. Highly Recommend!!

Hands-down the best property that we booked during our stay in Italy. Ingrid and Anna Pia were always very accessible, and the penthouse property was so beautiful and well taken care of. Our favorite part was definitely the wrap around rooftop patio - a great gathering place for our family to enjoy ourselves in the evenings. We also appreciated the beautifully renovated Bathrooms and personal touches such as complimentary slippers for each guest. I would highly recommend this property!

Amazing penthouse

We loved this apartment. It was very spacious, well kept, and air conditioned. It was so nice after a long hot day walking the streets of Florence to come back and relax. The TV room has an amazingly comfortable couch with a view that can't be beat. In fact most of the apartment has stellar views of the duomo, city hall, you name it. The location is about a 15 min walk to the duomo which was a little much for our 4 year old but taxis are easy to find.

Stunning & Spacious Apartment!

Six family members stayed in this beautiful penthouse apartment for six nights as part of a trip celebrating an 80th birthday. It's very spacious with plenty of room to spread out, very clean, comfortable and has large bedrooms with huge windows providing amazing views. We loved the beautiful outdoor spaces which offered views of the city center as well as the hills from the other side. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern and the apartment overall has so much charm and character. The apartment is on the top floor of a quiet building, has an elevator and is located about a 15 minute easy walk to the city center and main attractions. The surrounding neighborhood offers great restaurants, bakeries, shopping and a grocery store. If you are considering this property, stop looking and book it! It exceeded our expectations and if I return to Florence again one day I would stay here again. Thank you Ingrid, Anna and Carolina, we had an amazing trip.

This was perfect for us!

The pictures of the rooftop terrace sold me on this property, but when we arrived and saw how wonderful the rest of the apartment was, the terrace was merely a bonus. We had two of our children and their families staying with us, and we had plenty of room to spread out. The apartment was so beautifully appointed, that we felt as if we were staying in a private home, not a rental unit. That said, it was also very comfortable. I was concerned we may be staying a little too far from the main points of interest, but found the the location to be very convenient. We would love to return again and highly recommend this property.
