Very pleasant stay. Love the breakfast at the Pegasus Caffè. Marco was very friendly and gave us all the info needed to enjoy our stay.

Gem of a B&B in Florence

Wonderful and quiet place to stay. Very welcoming. Breakfast served in a nearby cafe--superb baked goods of various sorts. Would definitely stay her again.

Florence stay

We had a great stay in Florence in large part because of Marco at BB Porta. When we arrived at BB Porta he pulled out a map and showed us places that we should see, gave us recommendations for some of his favorite restaurants and marked them on the map which made them easy to find. He was available and helpful throughout our entire time in Florence. The location of BB Porta was also great. It was a little bit off the beaten path, which was great, but within walking distance of all the major sites of Florence. We loved our stay here and still talk about how great Marco was. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay when visiting Florence. It was easy to get around and there were shops and restaurants nearby. The owner, Marco was extremely helpful and the bedroom was safe, clean and comfortable. We also had the use of a kitchen area with plenty of crockery,pans and utensils. Very good value in this expensive city

In a great location, easy access to all the main attractions. Very friendly and helpful host. The property is tired and in need of refurbishment. The fridge in our room leaked and the light constantly flickered. The rooms are only serviced every other day and there is only a small bin in the bathroom which needs emptying daily.

Good location

Place is located right outside of the old city of Florence so very convenient walking distance from lots of places. Marco was very nice and helpful. Place needs a touch up, walls were a bit dirty and is a bit outdated but however I think is the priced the correct way. For some reason the picture I was provided for the apartment on hotels.com was not of the room I booked so that was a bit of a surprise for me.

Positives: - Reception was extremely friendly, gave us a map and showed everything around the city and what to visit and how long it takes. He was very welcoming and made you feel at home. - There were a lot of local restaurants around, and not overly noisy because it was away from the tourist area Negatives: - A fair walk to get to the main attractions, expect a 20 minute walk to the station. - Room itself was quite big, but the added loft where the bed sat on was a bit concerning. We are in reasonably fit condition however was sometimes a struggle to climb the stairs to the bed, and the whole structure wobble every time you moved. Seemed very dangerous, especially at night. Overall the B&B was reasonably priced, it served it purpose, but I’d pay a little bit more and get something closer to the main centre

Der Host Marco ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Durch und durch Gastgeber. Sehr sympathisch. Die Lage ist ideal für fussläufige Erkundung der Stadt. Einzig unser Zimmer entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen. Nach den Bildern bei der Buchung und den Rezessionen hatten wir viel mehr erwartet. Leider war unser Zimmer Nr. 1 im EG mit sehr alten Möbeln ausgestattet und leider war ein vorhandener Kühlschrank mit Schimmel voll. Lieber Marco, das sollte dringend getauscht werden. Das Zimmer war daher für die Größe und Ausstattung, trotz der Lage in unseren Augen überteuert. Wenn die Möbel und vor Allem der Kühlschrank erneuert ist, ist dies definitiv für einen Kurztrip zu empfehlen. Auch 2 gesicherte Parkplätze in einer Tiefgarage in der Nähe sind zubuchbar und sehr praktisch.

Hôtel bien placé quartier plus calme que le centre. Plusieurs restaurants autour. Marco est un hôte très sympathique toujours à l’écoute et qui parle français. La chambre est bien équipée bouilloire micro-ondes réfrigérateur.

O quarto é grande, tem uma cozinha entre os quartos que pode ser usada em comum, mas precisa de uma melhor limpeza, fomo muito bem atendidos pelo anfitrião e nos ajudou com as informações necessárias. Café da manha é um voucher de uma bebida e dois croissant na padaria na frente da hospedagem.
