APPARTAMENT IN THE CITY CENTER OF FLORENCE

The apartment is in the heart of Florence, at the first floor of a tipical Florentine house built in 1200. The windows overlook a secondary street of the main Via Calzaiuoli, so quiet is associated with the confort of having restaurants, caffes, shops short way away from the apartment. The apartment building is immersed in the art; few minutes from the apartment there are the magnificent Dome and the nearby Campanile designed by Giotto ,the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Santa Maria Novella Church, San Lorenzo Basilica with its distinctive open-air market, Piazzale Michelangelo from which by night there is a moving view of Florence .
It is possibile to associate culture with fun and shopping: the elegant Via Tornabuoni is reached in few minutes, likewise Piazza Santa Croce surrounded by pubs, discos, restaurants, pizzerias, theatres.
At S.M. Novella Station, which is 10 minutes by foot from the apartment, is possibile to rent bicicles that could be a fun meanx of transport to move around Florence streets and alleys. Moreover many coaches leave from the Station to Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Pisa for a pleasant trip outside the town.

Wonderful apartment in Florence

The apartment was perfect for our stay (myself and teenaged daughter). It was cozy, full of art, lots of fresh towels and extra blankets. Angela was a lovely host. We brought ear plugs and did use them a couple of nights because the area is popular and close to everything. We will be visiting Florence again and will stay here again.

A very comfortable first time stay in the heart of Florence

Overall the place was exactly what we needed in a four night stay in Florence. The location was fantastic. Entry and exit was a simple single flight of stairs. The apartment itself is perfect and had everything we needed. The hosts were fantastic. Really sweet. Very concerned and thought through what we might need.

Great property in an incredible location! The host is also lovely & was really easy to communicate with and so helpful. The only issue was that the washing machine was rather temperamental and the area is very loud and bright at all hours so not having block out blinds etc made it difficult to sleep.

Best location in Florence!

We loved our stay in Florence. The apartment was centrally located, close to the Piazza Duomo, and easy to get to from the train station. Angela was a great host. She quickly answered our questions and explained how all the appliances worked, where everything was located, and how to use the locks and doors. We couldn't be happier.

Cute and cozy

Lovely little apartment in a wonderful location in the shadow of the Duomo. Several good enotecas nearby for dining and Ben Caffe on Via Oche is a delightful place for morning coffee. The famous Grom is about 20 paces away! Some street noise but this is a city after all! Enjoyed our stay tremendously. Grazie Mille!

Beautiful apartment near Duomo

This apartment is absolutely wonderful! Greatest location a couple blocks from the Duomo; we walked everywhere. Roomy, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Angela gave us a warm welcome, and provided maps, guide books and tips about good sites and restaurants. Bring ear plugs for street noise. Thanks again, Angela

Perfect location for Duomo, Uffizi, Accademia

Angela’s place is perfect for walking around the city center and 2 mins from Duomo. She is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Shower appears to be very recently renovated with very nice tile. Area quiets down around 11pm Of the 4 VRBO’s we rented this was tied for best overall. #1 for location if your visiting for Cathedral, Uffizi, Accademia all less than 15 min walks. Restaurant choices galore

Apartment near Duomo

We went to Florence to visit my daughter. The apartment is a couple minutes from both her and the Duomo. The apartment was perfect for the 3 of us for 6 days. The kitchen is good for meals and having separate bedrooms gave my step daughter some space to themselves. Angela met us and gave us a tour the night we arrived. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Florence.

Location! Location! Location !

Just spent a fabulous week in this apartment with my husband and two college aged daughters. We loved exploring Florence and our day trips to Venice, Rome and Siena. The apartment had everything we needed, was very comfortable and Angela and her husband were very helpful . As mentioned in other posts the city centre is loud at night but a small price to pay for the prime location. Would definitely rent again and hope we will make it back soon!

A great location in Florence

Even though it was really hot during our stay, you could not ask for a better host and location. No AC but so what? Fans work just fine. Right in the City Center, just steps away from Piazza del Domo and all the top sites. Highly recommend this place.

If you are travelling to Florence and want to be perfectly located for exploring the city, this apartment may be just what you are looking for. The apartment is clean and comfortable and is well equipped to prepare a meal should you choose to do so. There are shops nearby to purchase whatever you require to prepare a meal. Excellent restaurants are located as close as next door and throughout the neighborhood. Angela is an excellent hostess who is responsive to your needs. WE RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT AND LOOK FORWARD TO STAYING THERE AGAIN

Just what we needed.

This property has all the standard amenities but is very basic. However, it deserves a five star rating because the location cannot be beat AND it is affordable. I have long since given up on upscale flats because I don't spend much time there. However, this flat is so close to everything it was easy to return for a mid-day rest. The check-in was exceptionally easy, though do not try to locate this flat by the photo provided. It is near this Piazza but down the street.

Die Lage der FeWo ist optimal, 2 Minuten zum Dom. In der Straße der FeWo gibt es einige sehr gute Restaurants. Das mit der Sauberkeit der FeWo hat Luft nach oben. Dei Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich.

5 days of priceless sites

The apt was clean, well equipped and had all that we needed. It was in a terrific location, a short walk to most of the attractive sites in Florence. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our time there. The bathroom, shower and beds were small but adequate.
