Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and gasoline, are also banned.

What to wear on a flight:

• Comfort should be your main priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a sensible option, as are flat, slightly roomy shoes.
• Most of us have heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To lower your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression socks and keep your feet and legs moving.
