• Travelling on a plane can be a comfortable experience if you've got all the right gear. Firstly, you'll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean pair of socks and something to read. Next, make room in your bag for your laptop, a charger, any vital medications and maybe a neck pillow as well. • Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by security.
