GREAT location. Rooms small, but what do you expect for a fab location and reasonable price. All staff i engaged with were attentive and friendly. Super quiet considering location. One elevator, which was a bit of a pain. Supermarket directly opposite, and good value.

This hotel is very affordable, nice, clean, safe and in the middle of Manhattan, so convenient and close to Times Square which is a hard find! It was not even noisy when trying to sleep. There is a store and deli next door open 24- 7 with drinks, ice, snacks including healthy options too like fruit and real food most of the day that is really good. They also sell glass bottle sodas, even diet ones so bring a bottle opener. There is no frig or microwave, so bring a small cooler if you can. We brought a cooler backpack and also used it for packing. They do have ice and the employees were all wonderful! They only have queen beds, no king, which was fine for us as a couple, small bathroom and elevators, but they were fine. Plenty of drawers and closet space to unpack your luggage. Great restaurants and things to do are all around, and it is easy to access the Subway or free Staten Island ferry to go to all other parts of the city as well. We would probably bring a small fan next time if a hot time of year again. You can only set air to the lowest setting for a couple hours at a time before it resets to a few degrees higher, probably to save money and not overload the power grid. Was not bad at all during the day, but sometimes in the middle of the night trying to sleep got just a little warm at times. This may become a regular stay for us. Our daughter just started to go to college close to the city and we plan on visiting a lot more!

This was such a charming hotel and centrally located for what we had planned during our girls trip. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The room was large, and the kitchenette was definitely a bonus. We felt safe and very well taken care of.

8/10 Very good! (1,002 reviews)
Good location and very friendly staff, but unfortunately that’s about where the positives end. The hotel is extremely outdated, with stained carpet and furniture, an old bathroom, a tub that didn’t drain properly, strange smells throughout, and sketchy elevators. We actually looked into options to leave shortly after getting into our room, even though it was late at night. The staff were nice and did waive an unexpected additional resort fee after we questioned it, but we felt very misled by the listing and photos. It seems the property may be going through a transition/potential purchase, so hopefully improvements are coming. At the end of the day, if you simply need a place to rest your head in a good location, this will do. But for anything beyond that, I would look elsewhere. We would not stay here again.
