"This place is great! As other reviews stated, the inside has 1980s Miami vibes but we loved it! It wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve stayed, there was a dirty towel and qtip sticking out from the bed when we checked in and because the accessories are dated it just doesn’t feel super clean. All that said, this place is perfect if you’re looking for a place for your family to stay while you’re out seeing the sights all day. "Arriving on a late flight from Melbourne our initial response was how quiet the neighbourhood, and are so glad that we didn’t select accommodations on the Esplanade. The apartment is over the road from the major shopping centre and Kuranda train station, a short walk to Rusty’s market and a range of restaurants. The standard of food was exceptional. As we were on the second floor a lift would have been but sometimes you can’t have everything! We will be back. "
