"Our extended stay at the Nest was great for our family of 3. There is enough space for both children to play and adults to relax. Water equiptment was included and we were able to explore this area of Old Lyme, with both a beach and cove to see. The balcony and seating downstairs gave us additional spots to hang out as well, and for travel, shopping, etc., you are conveniently located to Niantic and Old Saybrook. Sean and Brianne were very helpful and generous. Thank you!"

"I would say for other travelers going to this house, make sure the fans and AC unit up stairs are on. The bed in the loft room can get warm in the summer months if they are not turned on due to the beautiful natural light that you get at this house. Other than that, this was a great stay!"

"The home was very nice and clean. The a/c and appliances all worked well, although we were surprised the refrigerator is very dated in relation to the rest of the house. It served our purposes well and we would definitely return here. We did encounter two issues that should be addressed. 1. The property is specifically advertised as including a beach pass. However, when I inquired about the beach pass upon arrival, I was told there was none. 2. The property was advertised as pet friendly and we brought our golden retriever and golden doodle and it was great to have them with us. What was strange was that on the day of check in I received an email asking for a “pet fee” to be charged to me credit card. When I questioned the fee I was told that there was no fee and the property was pet friendly. Perhaps just miscommunication on both issues, but the owner should look into both. Again, we had a great time and the house fit our needs perfectly, so those two issues should not overshadow the overall experience."
