"This was one of my all-time favorite rental stays. Everything about the cabin and surrounding area is magical and super cozy. It felt like staying at a friend’s or family’s cabin in the best way possible. The hosts went above and beyond to thoughtfully prepare for our stay, too, leaving lovely little surprises so that every moment from the time we arrived was a delight."

"The cabin at Kelly's Point is a fantastic rustic get-a-way! The view is spectacular. You can listen to the waves all night. You have everything you really need right at hand. It is a bit of a drive from town-center if that's important to you--it wasn't for us. The sand beaches and lighthouse nearby were wonderful and the inland lake provides a nice water option if the weather is rough on Lake Michigan. If you are wanting to unplug and relax, we highly recommend and would 100% visit again ourselves. We were a little concerned about the "outside shower" but actually enjoyed it immensely. We also enjoyed the outside firepit, coffee and breakfast on the porch watching the sun rise over the lake and quiet evenings by the fire inside as well. The pictures did not do justice to some of the improvements."

"If I was beginning my stay all over again, I would get all of my groceries & necessities in Petosky or Gaylord before coming to the house. Our family loved the house & beach so much that once we arrived we didn’t want to leave! I would make sure I was getting there for the first time before sunset. The owner’s directions were great, but it is very secluded. The house had everything our family needed for a great stay! The upstairs sleeping loft was a perfect spot for our children. Our family of 7 had more than enough space, and we only wished for more days relaxing at the quiet beach together. We would definitely book this house again. Don’t forget to stop at the General Store in Good Hart. It was a perfect spot for a sweet souvenir, and you could grab a bite to take back to the house to eat!"

"Wonderful stay! There was 10 of us and we had plenty of space. Exceptionally communication with host. Exactly as pictured on site. The island is beautiful and people are very friendly and gracious. We loved having the pleasure of seeing gorgeous sunrises every morning."
