"Authentic Log Cabin. We have always dreamed of staying near Good Hart on the tunnel of the trees and to be able to stay in a 125 year old log cabin was the best. The cabin was much larger than I thought it would be and it was very comfortable. Plenty of comfy seating and a large dining room table surrounded by windows. There is a small table in the kitchen that looks out on the back yard where they have a spot that you can feed the chipmunks. We had so much fun watching them. Every morning and early evening we had deer show up as well. We really appreciated the lawn being mowed, it makes it so much nicer for walking our dogs. Not every VRBO maintains their lawn as well. The television does get local channels and our phones worked for texting. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing that we did not miss the internet at all. There is a large garage set up as a family room and they provide 2 bikes for riding. The store is just down the road and we really enjoyed their sandwiches and the home made pie. You can tell that this home has been well loved and taken care of by the family that owns it. I am very grateful that they shared it with us and we hope to rent it again."

"The location is great. I could see the lake from my room and balcony [through the trees]. The exterior and interior design is interesting. A ten minute walk to the downtown and marina is convenient and there is an overlook and stairs to the shore 5 minutes away at the end of the street. I'm glad I chose this hotel."

"The cottage was very clean, cozy, and well stocked with kitchen supplies and bath towels. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching boats on the bay. The beds were super comfy and well stocked. We loved the big kitchen for meals. Keith was an excellent communication and checked in via text before, during, and after our stay. We would definitely stay here in the future!"
Convenient Beaver Island Location

"The house was in a nice location on the island to unwind and relax. At the end of the street was a market, cafe, and brewery, along with great views of Lake Michigan. The house was also a convenient walk to a couple of hiking trails. Our one night stay was excellent, we enjoyed the slow laid-back pace of the island. This was a good find and great price."
