"The location, 800 yards from the train station, was why I booked a room for two nights in the first place. The hotel's staff was very helpful, pleasant, and went out of their way to help me. The hotel's room was small compared to others I stayed at during my trip, but it had all I needed, and the bed gave me two nights of wonderful, restful sleep."

"Expedia listing did not say the room I booked was basically a basement prison cell without the benefit of a window. Horrible. No one answers the phone at this property. When you call the number on Google you get charged, even if you hang up the moment you hear the voice saying you’ll be charged. Car Park blocked by bad parker , despite telling the front desk, car did not move so I had to park off site. Never stay at any hotel managed by this chain for the sketchy phone system alone. I have >£2 of charges which isn’t a lot of money in the big picture, but not something hotel guests should ever have to pay, especially when I hung up right away It was the local number I found that no one ever picked up. Bad."
