Escape to Serenity at The Covered Bridge Hideaway-The Perfect Vacation Rental!

Welcome to the Covered Bridge Hideaway, a spacious four bedroom house perfect for your vacation rental needs. This large house features a generous living room, dining room, and kitchen, all well-appointed and comfortable for your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary appliances, including a new oven/stove, fridge, and microwave installed in 2021.

The basement of this house offers additional entertainment options, with a pool table, foosball table, TV, and DVD player. Guests also have access to the lower deck from the basement. For outdoor cooking, there are two large decks with a newly installed charcoal grill in 2021. The added convenience of a Ring doorbell by the garage doors provides peace of mind for our guests.

The property boasts a huge yard, fire pit, and ample parking space. Enjoy the modern amenities of satellite TV, WIFI internet, DVD player, and radio with indoor and outdoor speakers during your stay. For those interested in golfing, there is a course just 4 miles away, and the town of Fennimore, with its great food and entertainment options, is only 5 miles away. Morning coffee on the deck was amazing with water run and sound of nature. The kids and husband loved playing with pool table and foosball. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved having the garage space for dog kennels. Our dogs enjoyed the outside space too run and play. Plenty of seating areas where we also enjoyed a few Netflix movies. Host was fast to reply to our messages.

Perfect spot in the woods

Our time spent at this property was ideal. It was very spacious for our large group. The views were picturesque as we sipped our coffee on the deck or were walking around the property. We especially enjoyed many hours of fun shooting pool! I would recommend this little piece of heaven to anyone looking to enjoy some time enjoying the piece and quiet of the country.

Fly Fishing Adventure for Mother's Day

My son and I stayed at this beautiful respite for Mother's Day weekend. We hired a fly-fishing guide from Black Earth Angling to help guide our fishing adventure for the day. This property is BEAUTIFUL, clean, comfortable, well appointed, and allowed us to bring our dog, Luna. It was the perfect mini-vacation. HIGHLY recommend!

Quiet area. House is clean but bathrooms need to be updated. We like how secluded the house is. Might be back during warmer month so we could enjoy the fire pit and outside area more

Family Cabin Retreat

Beautiful home and property that is nestled back in the woods. The home had everything we needed and plenty of room for the 11 of us and a dog. Yet we were still close enough for day trips of hiking at Wyalusing State Park and Effigy Mounds National Monument. We made many memories with pool tournaments, games, sittting around the campfire, and sitting on the decks overlooking the beautiful grounds and woods. The owners were welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. I highly recommend Escape to Serenity at the Covered Bridge Hideaway if this is the kind of vacation you are looking for!

Absolutely Incredible

We booked for my friend's bachelorette party weekend and it was exactly what we needed. Beautiful location, room for everyone (with 8 comfy beds!!), safe location, and excellent communication with our host. He was almost immediately responsive when I reached out which was so appreciated. 100% would stay here again - no question. We also happened to book during a weekend with a meteor shower and there's no outside light so we were able to see so many shooting stars :) Truly nothing negative to say - Thank you for being a part of such a beautiful weekend for my best friend.

Nice House!!

The house was very very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and all of us had plenty of space. The outside space is marvelous! The only negative were the beds - other than the queen-sized bed on the main floor that had a topper, the rest were hard, uncomfortable, spring type mattresses. I'm in the "soft bed camp" so ended up going to Walmart and buying a 3" topper for the mattress I was sleeping on so I could get some decent sleep.

Secluded and comfortable

It rained and was hot and humid for most of our stay. The size and comfort of this property helped us enjoy a great vacation given we stayed indoors more than we planned. The game room and open space really help. We also loved the location.
