We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a room for three which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent, each member was friendly and ensured that our needs were met. Parking was on the street, it was free and within close proximity to the guest house. I definitely recommend a stay.

Pleasant easy check in. Good price for room
I had. Convenient location. Would appreciate access to make Tea or Coffee in room or main office. Steep stairs are inconvenient but manageable.
Perfect for a 1 night stay transfering from airport to train. Short walk to great restaurants.
Being from North America, the stairs were a bit steep but knew in advace and prepared for them. Very quiet place and clean. A bit tight for space, but didnt really need it. **Note it is cash only.

Nice comfortable stay in Faro
The accommodation was central and convenient for the bus and train station. Very good for eating and drinking options. The room had everything I required for the 1 evening I was staying. The room clean, comfortable, safe it was however a bit on the small side which was ok for a single occupant. I don’t think I would have wanted to stay anymore than the one day. It would have been good if the accommodation was able to offer even a basic continental breakfast.

Quite close to the city center, our room was extremely small - nearly couldn't turn around in the bathroom or bedroom - and clearly needs some renovation works. The staff was nice. We would have apprecisted a lot to know in advance that only cash payment is possible - only accomodation during our 10 day trip which not accepts card or online payment.
The guest house is VERY convenient to the bus and train stations, less than a 10 min walk away. The rooms aren't very big, but the super convenient location makes it great for short stays.
It's just a couple of short blocks to the pedestrian zone of Faro, and there are a lot of restaurants within a 5-10 min walk. It's only about 10 minutes to marina, too, or 15 minutes from the wharf where the Rio Formosa estuary boat trips leave from.
The property has a spacious but a bit hidden rooftop terrace that is a VERY quiet place to sit and read a book. The property is on a narrow but main street and you get a lot of traffic driving by at all hours. Front facing rooms (which we had) are a bit noisy.
The front reception desk has staff available 24 hrs/day, and you have to contact them to get in every time, as you drop your key on leaving and pick it back up when you return.
WiFi is good and fast. I would recommend the Guest House for short stays for sure.

To be very honest guest house was very near for all transportation and activates however the service was okay. Can improve with small budget like toiletries and good quality of towels etc. staff was nice.
Initially I had mixed feelings as room is really small BUT for short stay is perfect- clean, towels changed daily, very friendly and helpful stuff ( even after check out, we were able to leave luggage till our train in the afternoon. Overall, really good experience!
Accepted only cash, tthus allowing bank ATM's. to rip you off.

I cannot review as this hotel gave my room to another person before I arrived. This caused huge upset and a frantic look around for other accomodation.
Clean and simple. Near the station and the city center. The street outside is heavily trafficked, both day and evening. Guests are coming in around the clock. Both windows and doors are thin, so I had a hard time getting to sleep. Many of the staff are rude and unhelpful. They only accept cash which is strange. The beds are old.

Cash required on arrival; no prior notice
Not sure whether to pin this on the Guest House or on hotels.com…but not only do they require you to pay on arrival (booking merely holds the room), but they insist you pay cash. My hotels.com confirmation only said payment was required at the property; it did not say it had to be cash. Do a better job communicating with each other. If they’re going to insist on having a couple hundred Euros cash in hand when checking in, advance notice should be given
This room was tiny and extremely noisy. Unable to sleep with window open and the air conditioning was dripping on me during the night. I asked for an airport transfer car at 4am - they said it had been ordered and it didn’t come. There was no one available at reception to get some help despite the fact it was supposed to be manned 24 hours. Also they asked for my payment in cash on arrival despite having my credit card. My stay was uncomfortable and expensive for the conditions. I didn’t find the staff helpful but they are probably being paid a pittance. Oh. And the toilet smelt - not nice in a tiny room.
