Hotel Alnacir is clean, well maintained and has friendly staff. The breakfast is good and it is excellent value for money all around. Also it is only a very short walk away from the marina/centre of Faro.

Bare bones hotel but strategically located. Less than 15 minutes from the airport and within 10 minutes from the marina. Plenty of food options within walking distance. The hotel itself needs upgrading. Staff are quite friendly.

Fine for one night.

Lumpy mattress and wi-fi at best reached one bar. The room was dated but very clean. OK for one night and good location between the centre of town and Forum shopping mall. The bus to the airport is just round the corner.

The hotel is basic but doesn’t pretend to be anything but that But to be fair to them I booked 10 minutes before I arrived due to my original accommodation being disgusting . So thank you to them and the nice man on reception for squeezing me in at the last minute

Decent 2* hotel. Continental breakfast (7€ p.p) with good filtered coffee and separate espresso machine. We were able to park the rental car right outside for free, depending on available spots. There is street parking opposite the building as well. They do have secure parking at the back for a fee.10-15 minute walk to the restaurants/bars/marina in the centre. If you miss breakfast after 10am, there is a café right next door open till 8pm selling sandwiches, pastries and coffees. The receptionist is available 24/7 and you can buy bottled drinks and beer to take to your room, at the in-house bar. The only suggestions I would make are to maybe modernise the bathroom and offer a cooked local sausage, instead of the mini hot dog style, on the breakfast buffet. Will stay here again should we return to Faro. A big thank you to the hotel team... Paul S

Booked a room for three adults Said online there was a double bed and free cot bed. We got there and they said we can’t have three people, one of us was left with nowhere to stay. We wouldn’t have booked this room if it wasn’t for three people, I showed them Expedia where I booked they said it was wrong, they had a triple room avalible but wanted to charge 70€ to upgrade. Didn’t rectify the situation at all, wouldn’t let us talk to a manager. If they had a room why wouldn’t they upgrade us at no cost since it was their fault for having misinformation online. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and I’ve never had someone so unhelpful at the front desk. I would not recommend this place
