"Very good stay in Almancil, 15 min drive from Faro and 40 mins to Benagil caves. Host was gracious enough to accept a late check-in for us and was always available on whatsapp for any queries. "

"I stayed at a room at street level, the room was super noisy. There’s no shampoo or soap in the bathroom. The Upper level bed is very close to the fan’s ceiling which made me worried about hitting my head if I sit in the bed. Late self check in was possible, however I had to call the hostel several times to arrange it as the hostel didn’t reply to my messages 2 day pre arrival."

"We enjoyed our beach Christmas. We loved walking over to the 2 cafes. Plenty of blankets to snuggle in at night. Plenty of dining options even in the off season. Easy to get to by Uber or ferry, there is also a bus but the construction on the bridge means the stop is far away. For Uber, make sure you look at google maps so you can get from the street to the house easily. Once you’ve done it it’s easy but the first time in the dark can be fun! There is a local airport however there only...
