She was nice enough to order us a delicious dinner that was delivered at 5:30. We were very appreciative. We had to leave early in the morning, 5 am. "Martine is very hospitable and gave us homegrown tomatoes and homemade jam and kept the pool beautiful however the accommodation needs updating, & is not to my standard of hygiene. Something in my bed on the mezzanine made me itch. There is barely any light in the kitchen which made it difficult to cook. The only supermarket is a Super U which is about 11 miles away, nothing in the village. Positives: the pool, the hot water, the proximity to the mountains and Lourdes if you’re of a mind to visit. We left early due to the impending strike by ferry workers."
