"Check-in was quick and easy and the staff friendly. Our room was ready and clean. A strange thing happened which was no fault of the hotel at all. As we were checking in a construction worker poked his head in and informed the hotel that a water main was hit by a crew supporting l digging in the parking lot and there would be no water for a couple hours. No problem for us though and water was restored before 2 hours. Hahaha!!!!"

"great bathroom facility even is the soap/ shampoo provided is watered down. Just a heads up, the bathroom isn't the only thing that is on a hill. Some of the fire pits are down steep hills (not the easiest thing for my aged mother) The small pond had peddle boats for use so that was fun! All around wonderful, slightly-rustic stay."

"Everything was awesome! Except my husband forgot his C-PAP in room 309! It was sitting on a small table by the chair! I called and Alex said he checked and it was not there. If house keeping found it PLEASE have them to return it! It was in a gray bag! The bad had the C-PAP and a charger in it! If found and they have it if they are honest about it! It cost over $1000.00. Please me know if they found it! Susan Bradley 910-622-4481 ."

"The room was clean, staff was great. Seemed to be a shortage in parking, as we struggled to find a spot if we came in after dinner. The indoor pool was COLD, the room it was in was COLD. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the 24/7 coffee in the lobby. We got in in the evening and was woken up at 4:25 for a tornado. Not the hotel's fault but I think it would have been something to let us know the procedure. We're from the south and we get tornados but aren't able to do anything about them so we just rolled over and tried to go back to sleep. They started yelling telling us to get out of the room, again I know they have no control of the weather, but I think giving us the heads up of what was to be expected if one came through would have been nice. They lost power, I don't know how long but atleast 5 hours. They didn't provide any fruit, muffins, or anything for breakfast. They have them, individually wrapped muffins, and such but they had the breakfast room shut."
