Paradise found! This exquisitely decorated and secure getaway with gorgeous desert gardens and views for miles offering quiet and serene nights is the perfect antidote to crowds and noise. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in a fabulously located spot in Fallbrook, CA which is a short drive to the ocean, Temecula wine region, Bonsall and Oceanside. The very best of Southern California living on an elegant estate with secure off street parking inside a walled and gated compound. We have five rescue dogs on the property. They are very friendly and are the official welcoming party. If you have an issue with dogs it’s best that you find other accommodations. We want our guests to feel comfortable. We have over 150 five star reviews across two platforms and the dogs are the highlight of those reviews along with our gardens.

Lovely Location

We enjoyed our stay and would return if we are ever back in Fallbrook. Comfy bed and spacious cottage. We loved meeting Ranger and another of the pups. Well appointed kitchen and close to Fallbrook town center. Easy check in and out too.

Tucked away in a safe & secluded location yet within driving distance to winery/wedding venue, we enjoyed this cute, clean & peaceful environment full of many amenities during our brief stay.

Great place!

The cottage was super cute and comfy. We had a very short stay but it was very easy to find, check in and check out. The cottage has all you need to have a comfy, quiet getaway.

This place is nearly perfect and the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because I booked it through Expedia in the information on check-in doesn’t translate over very well. The email I got said an access code, but I thought it was for the door not the gate. I thought it was the number, but you actually have to press pound at the gate. Also, the check-in instructions didn’t include which door to go through. Otherwise, it is such a lovely place and very peaceful.

Charming California Chaparral Cottage

From the cottage to the grounds, this is a darling place to enjoy Fallbrook country. The cottage is roomy, clean, and nicely decorated. You really have everything you need. The garden is refreshing, and wait until you see the sunset! Magical!

Beautiful Gardens around this cozy cottage

Beautiful and peaceful

We had a great getaway. Beautiful property with a cute garden. Easy to navigate. The cottage is much bigger than I expected. Margaret was always available when we had questions. Very close to the freeway. We had so much fun exploring in Temecula.

We had an excellent 2 night stay in this cute little cottage. We came up for a Friday afternoon wedding and were able to check in a little early to freshen up and change beforehand. Thank goodness, because it was pouring down rain! Margaret quickly responded to our questions and gave a great winery recommendation. The house was exactly as pictured, and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay again, especially since we joined 2 wine clubs while we were up there!

Fabulous little cottage!

Clean, exactly as pictured, well stocked, and loved the garden space. My partner and I had breakfast out in the patio area and really enjoyed it. We also loved that one of the dogs stopped by to say hello! He/she was super sweet. Thanks so much for a fabulous stay, Margaret!!

The Cactus Garden itself is exquisite. Multiple varieties of well tended plants and comfortable seating placed throughout to allow one to enjoy the sunset and stars at night. The Cottage is well appointed with tasteful decor and one of the best beds ever in a booked stay. Linens and towels are top of the line, felt extremely luxuriated. No issues with my stay, will definitely return next time I go to San Diego area.

This property was all we expected. Relaxing and very quiet! We were able to come in and out as described. The unit was nice and clean. The only problem was the TV did not work but honestly we just need a time to unwind and disconnect. Worked out well! Thank you to our host/s.

Perfect location !!!!

We stayed here while visiting friends and family from Valley Center, Carlsbad, Fallbrook, Temecula and Murrieta. This place is centrally located with easy access to the freeway. Her grounds are beautifully landscaped and the casita was cute and well suited for us. The casita is secluded from the rest of the estate in a quiet neighborhood. It couldn't be more than 5 miles from "Old Town Temecula", a great area to explore and get a bite to eat. This will be our first choice while staying in the area in the future. The owner reminded us that there is special prices during the week.
