"One of the best family and regional small hotel we have visited in 20 years in Crete. They really are very small hotel, familial style but they do their best to provide high level services: multiple pool, breakfast, sun towels. Amazing quality for price. I rarely write reviews but their work needs to be recognized. The only con of this hotel, despite what is written on Hotels.com, it's very remote in the moutain and far from Paleochora, so I recommend if you need to rest 2-3 days in a super...

"Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home."

Good quality hotel in a convenient location. Easy flat walk to the old town and main harbour area. Quiter end of the harbour but still plenty of atmosphere and nice views. Hotel stag were friendly and helpful. Excellent quality breakfast in a picturesque setting. Free parking onsite. Chania (old town in particular) is a charming and interesting harbour town with plenty of atmosphere and excellent dining options. The area is clean, well kept and feels safe. Malmo Historic Hotel

10/10 Excellent

Malmo is a great location for a stay in Chania. Old town Chania is beautiful and carries a lot of charm, and Malmo lets you access everything with a short walk. The windows are double-glazed to block out almost all noise. The rooms are beautifully decorated and clean. The buffet breakfast is located on a rooftop balcony, with a small but choice selection of foods to enjoy in the quiet morning sun. The staff were very helpful. My wife and I purchased grapes from the local flea market, and the...
