About this property
Tangerine Eugene Guesthouse - central Eugene, Pet yes, bikes, near UO & downtown
- Tangerine Eugene is in the heart of the bustling Whitaker neighborhood, blocks from downtown, 1.5 mi to Univ. of Oregon. This fully renovated 1915 guest house is less than a block from eateries, vibrant nightlife, cafes, and is a few blocks to breweries like Ninkasi Brewing, Hop Valley Brewing & Oakshire Brewing yet is nestled in a unique neighborhood. It has a fully fenced and private yard, kitchenette, Wi-Fi , TV and two bikes (the Willamette River Trail is a few blocks away!).
Tangerine was built in 1915. In 2023, the house was in terrible shape; the floors were partially dirt and the roof had a tarp on it. In 2024 and the beginning of 2025 we worked on the house with the help of several Eugene carpenters, plumbers, and electricians (we still had full time jobs ourselves). This house is our only Vrbo and we love it.

My wife and I had a great weekend in the Tangerine! It was exactly what we needed for going to a football game. Clean, easy access, and great communication! Location is great for going to Oregon athletic events. I highly recommend!
