Spacious 4-bedroom house with WiFi and AC in peaceful Euclid
4/10 Poor
"When we first arrived we tried to find a light to go in the house and the living room light would not turn on. We got a phone with a light to wonder in. It was later in the evening when we got there so it was darkish. The description that was on the rental said it was a 4 bed house. The pictures don’t really show for sure if it is and we went on to it thinking we had one more bed for adults in a separate room and that was not the case. My daughter and her husband had to sleep on the couch as there was not 4 bedroom. Amenities listed included washer and drier, iron and ironing board. With a small toddler that was an important thing for us but that was not included either. The bathroom vanity has black mold in it. Surface and what could be seen was clean but behind doors corners vents garbage containers were not clean. First morning when using the blow drier blew fuses or beaker. So now not only the from room had no power one bedroom had no power including lights. And part of the master bedroom had no power. The portable AC that was plugged in in the master bedroom now was not able to be used. The bedroom was so hot that it was impossible to sleep in. So more people on coaches and one grandson had to sleep on the floor. I reached out to the property manager and she tired to get someone there but the issue was never fixed. She did tell us that part is our fee would be refunded but I have not seen that. My daughters and I left it cleaner than we found it. "

10/10 Excellent
"A lovely, older home that met our needs exceptionally well. We loved the window seats, built in cabinets, just the charm and character of the home. Very quiet...a deer met us in the driveway one evening! If there is a drawback, it would be the fact there is no bathroom for the upstairs bedroom. We understood that ahead of time, so it wasn't a big deal and we just worked showers around our schedules. A larger group might find that a deal breaker, but it wasn't for us."
"Lovely, tastefully updated home with preserved original 1940s charm including gorgeous hardwood floors and glass doorknobs. The AC was nice, the shower head was great, and there were plenty of linens. Huge TV and interesting coffee table books were a plus. Always good to have an option if you travel with a pet. It’s extremely close to freeway access, grocery and drugstores, the lakefront, and fairly close to Cleveland (under 30 min). We stayed here to visit Rock Hall and also historic Kirtland, which is about 15 minutes from the home. Host was responsive and informative. The whole experience was smooth. "
"Cozy home in an established neighborhood. It was nice to step out of the house and easily take a walk. The house was clean, plenty of bathroom towels, and a nicely stocked kitchen with ample plates, bowls, glasses and cookware - even a few baking pans. Communication with the host was excellent; he was extremely responsive throughout. We found several maintenance issues which were addressed within a few days. It's important to note that the master BR (king bed and BR w/ most square footage) is on the top floor, which does not have a bathroom. Not a deal breaker, but possibly an issue for those who don't want to do stairs during the night to reach a toilet. Having a washer/dryer and garage are great features. We recommend this property."
"Great older home to stay in! Location for attractions was great! Only down fall was if you wanted to eat out you had to travel a little for a decent restaurant(granted we weren't the most familar with the area). Would definitely stay again. "
"Was not an accurate web description, smelled horrible and dogs were barking upstairs . We did not stay there we ended rooming elsewhere and was only refunded 125 out of the almost 1100 stay… "
"Great house, great communication with property manager, easy process, definitely recommend for families and friends up to 6-8 people. Not much going on in or around the neighborhood, but easy access to downtown. "
