"This Logis is in a pretty environment. It could be so good but it’s management that lets it down! We arrived after the check in time then had to phone to get an access code. The reception wasn’t manned till much later. When we booked this hotel it was because of the reviews of tge restaurant. On arrival we found the restaurant wasn’t on site and it was closed for the summer! Breakfast was available and we checked the start time of 7am as we had to leave early. "Lovely clean modern hotel. Suite was huge and beds really comfy. We stayed during a hot period so struggled a big with the heat as the suite has big windows, but there was an aircon unit we could use. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but we kept having to ask for refills of most things, but they were happy to do that. The grounds are stunning and relaxing. We would sit ourside in the evening with a local beer (great IPA and Blond) and listen to the birds."
