I have just come back from a short stay at Luxury Guest House Opus One and from the moment I stepped into the property at 11pm, Rena who was on duty waiting for me was welcoming and taking time to show me around the property. The photos not do the property justice. It was extremely clean and my room was perfect! Breakfast was prepared fresh and comprised of continental style meats and cheese, fresh fruit, eggs, bread, yoghurt, although other items maybe available. Michael, Anna and Pedro were other members of staff and friendly. I will go back and definitely recommend.

The resort itself is impressive and golf courses are stunning. The pool area by the beach has great facilities and restaurants. The food at main reception restaurant is exceptional unfortunately the process of ordering is slow. As for the apartments, if I’d have understood the complex I would have booked a two bedroomed property or apartment. As it happened we had two separate apartments opposite each other. They were wasteful in space for two people I thought, but the main downfall was the condition, it was dated, the back sliding doors were held together with, what I can only describe as a, child kitchen cupboard safety clip. Which kept falling off. Meaning security was practically nil and void. The bathroom was so dated, grout, silicone, basins all facilities were in bad shape. The whole apartment needed a revamp. When you see the wealth of the surrounding private properties, they’re a bit of a let down, especially knowing we paid a a decent amount of money, they’re unfortunately not worth the price. I would return but not to these rooms.
