Great place but service could be better

Really like the place, but (except for team at the restaurant, which is great!) could really be better on service (saying hi to customers, treating them fairly). I will come back as it is great and convenient but will lower expectations on that aspect

The Hotel is very well located. The SPA is fantastic. The restaurant is very good. BUT, the rooms are run-down. The paint is old. The floor of the balcony is cracking. There is no showe. You need to sit on the bath tube to avoid spraying water everywhere. There is no bed light. There is no desk light. There is no charging station for Laptop and cell Phone. Compared with the Hotel Barriere Deauville, this location needs some upgrades.

I booked the same hotel I've been booking for 28 years, and when I arrived it was under renovation. No view of the lake, and so many twists and turns to get to my room. Odd experience, won't be coming back any time soon.

Very pleasant stay.

Four very pleasant nights, we particularly enjoyed the Spa. We'd booked to eat on the terrace on our last night but were called just before our booking time to say that the kitchen had no gas so they could only offer salads. We ate at the restaurant across the road which was excellent. Parking is quite expensive but easier than using one of the public car parks.

Nous avons étés accueillis très gentiment par un personnel qui cherche visiblement a compenser l'obsolescence de cet hotel avec amabilité. C'est bien la seule chose réellement positive que nous retiendrons. L'hotel est vieux, vétuste et ne correspond en rien aux standards que proposent habituellement les hotels du groupe duquel il dépend. Nous sommes arrivés un dimanche et avions faim. Le personnel d'accueil nous a indiqué que le restaurant de l'hotel était fermé et qu'aucun room service n'était disponible ("puisque c'était dimanche"???). Ils nous ont, très gentiment encore, redirigés vers un restaurant du groupe de l'autre cote de la rue qui, lui, ne servait qu'a partir de 19h. Cet hotel ne propose donc aucune solution de restauration un dimanche a 16h et nous a seulement indiqué que nous trouverions ce que nous cherchions... a la Gare d'Enghien. Un McDo plus tard, nous rentrons donc avec mon épouse et ma fille de 13 ans, sous la pluie, a l'hotel pour nous entendre dire qu'elle ne pouvait avoir accès a la piscine de l'hotel car celle ci était situé a l'intérieur du spa et que seuls les clients dont l'age était supérieur a 16 ans pouvaient avoir accès. Lunaire!!! Petit déjeuner du lundi matin: charcuterie de supermarché, pas de produits frais, qualité générale douteuse, accueil médiocre alors que nous avions été plutôt bien accueillis la veille au front desk. Le groupe Barrière doit soit fermer cet hotel soit facturer la nuit a moins de 100 euros... ca ne vaut pas mieux!

Bon séjour ! Le seul problème c est qu on vous donne des entrées pour le Spa ou se trouve aussi la salle de sport et toute sortie est définitive. Donc si vous voulez faire du sport le matin et le SPA en fin de journée, soit vous y restez toutea journée soit vous ne pouvez plus y retourner. Seul problème. Le personnel est top. Clin d oeil pour le personnel du petit déjeuner (Annie, Abdelaziz et Vincent)

L'extérieur de l'hotel mériterait d'être restauré mais l'intérieur est joli et confortable, la chambre était très agréable, et le service au 85 est juste parfait. En revanche le petit déjeuner est une vraie déception: choix et qualité indigne d'un tel établissement surtout à ce prix, c'est dommage. Enfin le Spa est vaste, bien équipé et agréable
