"The Ritz Carlton Bangkok is on another level from so many other hotels in Bangkok that also wear the 5 stars. All aspects of the hotels physical features are simply outstanding. It is a truly calm and elegant hotel that sits perfectly positioned across from Lumpini Park, and easily accesses all areas of the city via quick and easy transport. The staff are what really makes the stay at the hotel truly memorable. You are immediately greeted by eager and professional staff at the arrivals hall whenever you arrive. All staff in the hotel on every level greet you as you pass them with sincere smiles and they get to know your name and that is pretty special. As a guest of the Club Lounge, the experience is next level again. The staff there are truly in a class of their own. We stayed 7 nights, and each night we were treated to exceptional service, incredible food and fabulous views of the park. Special note to GINA, FAIRY, MINT, IRENE, SOPHIA and PECKY who couldn’t do enough to make our stay truly special. We met the Hotel Manager Lucas who was also incredibly engaging and provided us with a real sense that guest welfare matters to him and his staff and he was always available for a chat and to provide advice on the cities highlights. We have booked in to return at Christmas and New Year’s Eve for another truly memorable stay at the beautiful Ritz Carlton."

"I have stayed at this old but functional hotel many times. The rooms are basically small condos...the bed is terrific, the service is prompt, areas clean albeit somewhat outdated. The pool is small but still relaxing...be careful on the steps leading to the pool and into the pool. The fitness rooms are terrific for the space allowed. Restaurants, shops, 7-11, taxi, motorbike taxi, all available in this historic area....Saladeang, Silom , RamaIV. The price is very competitive. Bathrooms functional and good shower. The toilet is old and not great. BTS not far as is Lumpini park"
