I'm really impressed by this hotel and will definitely put it at the top of my list for Bangkok. Excellent room with a good layout. Incredible staff and also very well staffed (almost no wait for anything). Area felt very safe and was walkable. Metro access was about 10 minute walk with no major road crossings needed. Nice shopping nearby. Airport pickup was great, the driver even notified the hotel when we were close in order to prepare for our arrival - with multiple staff members assisting us with check-in in the early morning hours. Nice gym, pool area, and kids room on the 5th floor. Stayed a week and would gladly stay again. Marriott should be proud to have this hotel and it's staff under their brand. Great job.

This is our second stay at the Vista and we received a complimentary upgrade to a 2BR. Staff is always friendly and professional. The housekeeping staff is also thorough and cheerful, very good at adapting to our needs for bottled water, and washing everything left in the sink! Buffet breakfast is discounted with hotel stay and very well worth it.

We had a 2 Bedroom apartment and it was spacious!. Everything was clean, the kitchen, Bathroom and Pool was all spotless. We had breakfast one of the day and it was ideal for the kids. Will stay again in the future

The hotel is well situated near both transit lines, and is a convenient 10-minute walk from many nice smaller restaurants and shopping. Area is absolutely safe. The standard room I stayed in is a very spacious 1BR. There is a kitchen and washer/dryer so it is perfect for longer stays. Discounted $11 breakfast buffet is well worth it. Only minor issue is that being on a busy street, traffic noise is slightly elevated, even on the 14th floor.

Phenomenal stay and Marriott Executive apartments in Bangkok! Really clean and large rooms! The staff were so courteous and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options for all cultures and diets. I would stay here again. The City train is about a 10 min walk and easy to learn! We ended up taking it back to BKK airport without the tour guide :)

The facility is a little old, but it was well equipped. The breakfast was good, and on the last day of my long stay, they left small souvenirs on the table next to the bed. I celebrated my birthday during my stay, and they gave me a birthday cake as a surprise. There are some upmarket restaurants nearby, a short walk to street food stalls and local restaurants, and a convenience store just a short walk away.

Average stay

Stadf were friendly, understanding and responsive. You receive 1kg of free fruit and some delicious tea on arrival. Location is positioned across the road from the beach and in walking distance to the main street. Our first room was upgraded which was fantastic, however after numerous stomping and banging from upstairs guests, the hotel opted to downgrade us to our original 'Ocean view suite' which didn't have much of an ocean view and was significantly smaller. These rooms were musty and mouldy smelling, and the bed sheets smelled of mildew. One of the toilets leaked and is positioned far too close to the bathtub a tall person would find it difficult to use. The TV reception was also poor and difficult to view. The resort sits on a steep hill, so if you are physically unfit and the shuttle isn't available, then this place would be very unsuitable for older/disabled people. It's unfortunate we were placed in an inferior room because of disruptive guests (and despite being told we would he upgraded prior) otherwise I would have submitted a better score. Overall, the resort is large and has nice facilities but overall I wouldn't visit again as I felt it lacked value for money.
