"Beautiful setting. Very nice chalet, well furnished rooms with a lovely great room. Staff was very communicative and directions on getting there seemed more complicated than they actually were. No issues getting there at all. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy and the balciny was great. The Alder room was as decribed and we could hear the river from our room. Fireplace was easy and functions just like an hvac unit control. Parking was ample and easy. Will say that the chalet is just that, a chalet, not a concrete hotel or resort, because I feel like people are expecting pure isolation. A chalet lives more like a house with a giant common room, so you will hear other guests and toilets and walking. But the owners provide ear plugs and a sound machine, and during quiet hours, it was very quiet. Birds chirped and deer nearby were very nice. Beautiful pine covered mountains right outside the windows. There are also no TVs in the room, so be prepared and bring a book, which was super welcome. Overall, a great stay, especially for a quick unwind. Wish I would have stayed a week. "
