"Very private and quiet area. Not far from restaurants . It also isn't far to Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. We love the historic Boone."

"This is our second time staying at this property. Overall we love spending time here. The view is amazing and there's plenty of room for everyone. If anything could be improved upon, I would say having sheets available for the numerous roll out beds would be fantastic."

"The cabin and property were very clean, cozy, and welcoming. We loved the location and how the cabin was nestled in the woods, which gave it a wonderful sense of privacy. We really enjoyed having our coffee on the porch and relaxing in the hot tub. We also saw deer almost every morning and evening while taking our miniature dog outside, which was such a special part of the experience.Our hostess, Kathleen, was incredibly helpful when we arrived later than expected. We had to text her a few times with minor questions, and she was always very accommodating, responsive, and helpful. We really appreciated her hospitality.One thing to be aware of is the parking if you have a full-size crew-cab pickup. There wasn't quite enough room to turn around in the driveway, so we simply pulled in and backed out. A smaller vehicle would likely have an easier time maneuvering. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's worth knowing ahead of time.I included a few photos of the gas grill because it was actually nicer than the one we have at home! It was a really nice setup and a pleasant surprise. If you enjoy cooking outdoors, you'll appreciate having such a good grill available.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and loved the peaceful, private setting. We would definitely recommend this cabin. We enjoyed it so much that we even talked about trying to book here again in the future!"

"We had a wonderfully relaxing week at the cabin. The cabin is very well equipped with everything we might need, even a pizza cutter!The decks overlook the woods and as such, we were treated daily to Mama deer and her two fawns. My mistake was thinking there was a mountain view, but upon my rechecking the site, I realized the photos were taken in the fall, after leaves had fallen. We will just have to return in October! The cabin is located conveniently with Boone and Valle Crucis nearby which we enjoyed spending time. The Blue Ridge Parkway is still undergoing repairs due to the storm so we had some navigating to do. Thank you GPS! But the views are so worth it! A lovely cabin and we would recommend wholeheartedly."
