"Perfectly good place to stay the night. It’s not a place I would pick to have the most relaxing and luxurious vacation of my life, but it was great for the price and the amenities. Jocelyn at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet on the third floor. Breakfast was good and they even had separately wrapped gluten free bread. The property shares its parking lot with another hotel, so there were some people smoking and being loud out there late into the evening, but we couldn’t hear it from our room. We brought our dog and had easy access to the parking lot from the stairwell so we didn’t have to take her through the lobby. Overall, if I needed a decent place to stay the night, I would stay here again. "

"Kathleen and Steve were the perfect hosts and the guest house was just perfect for me. They have everything you need including coffee, a full kitchen, plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and a TV. The wifi worked great, and I was able to work from here with no issues. The layout of the space was perfect and I appreciated the king size bed. If you are looking for a place up in the mountains but still close to town, this is the perfect spot. I can’t wait to visit again!"

"House is very private. Great location if you want equal distance to Boone and West Jefferson. Cabin has everything (exceptt ice trays) as ice maker in fridge didn't work. Remedied that with some bag ice. Definitely returning during warmer months to take advantage of kayaks supplied for cruising down the river."
