"Samantha was excellent to deal with. Her responses were always prompt and helpful.Beautiful setting, private with spectacular views of the Shuswap lake and surroundings. I would have rated 5 stars but some factors beyond the owner’s control were the inconvenience of the bridge construction, although Samantha shared that with us at the time of booking, and access to the bike trail is awkward as you need to transport the bikes via your car due to the long steep road up. Although once on the trail along the Mara channel and Mara Lake you are treated to a gorgeous ride, plus there is a short ferry ride available to take your bike across the channel to tour Sicamous. Of course if you’re not planning to cycle the trail it wouldn’t be an issue…just enjoy the quiet and the spectacular Shuswap scenery! The propane bbq and fire box were both a plus. We’d love to go back."
