"The people who worked at Puerta Cortes were very nice. There were A LOT of flies outdoors in every restaurant and no one told us that the beaches aren't used by locals because of the stingrays in the shallow waters.... despite that - we thought it was an amazingly beautiful area. There was an issue with a late pickup on the return trip to the airport but it all worked out ok in the end."

"This place was immaculate and beautiful. Walking distance to everything and such an awesome stay. The sunsets were amazing from the property. I can't tell you how many times I ran out and across the street to the Sea of Cortez just to put my feet in the water and people watch. Yes it was a little loud on Friday night but that's what made it fun and interesting. Who doesn't like a Bob Marley cover band coming from the beer garden behind you? It was like having your own private suite at a concert!...

"This was a great place for partying adults. We brought our 6 year old grandson with us and wished we knew beforehand that the pool didn’t have a shallow end. It also needed a few more things like coffee cups, steak knives and garbage bags to be practical for a family. Overall it was a very nice home."

"Great property. All amenities needed, tons of space, great outside spaces, access to secluded beach w good service. Very wellg stocked market on the resort, but quite pricey. The gas station right down the road is much more reasonable. Only negative was that the main club house was closed for maintenance, and we didn't find out until the day we arrived. But, there were 3 other pools we had access too. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful property. Lovely, attentive hosts who went above and beyond to pamper us. So many amenities, full breakfast, snacks, drinks, small pool, beautiful views and comfortable beds. And friendly house cats Luna and Camilla always there to greet us. Located 2 blocks from the Malecon, with lots of nearby restaurants, we were able to walk everywhere. Great stay, would highly recommend and return again "

"The bottom floor rooms share the outside kitchen and we all share the fire pit and front patio. We are a few blocks away from the water and close to food and restaurants and small stores. You can just walk to get around or rent a scooter right here from Pepe, the owner. He is very good at assisting with all your adventures. There is a great community vibe and we made so many great friends with the other guest while we were there. We had many big cookouts and feasts together. There are adults...

"Prior to our arrival I was in communication with the property manager. He was aware of the time our arrival. Once we arrived we noticed the property was filthy , it was uninhabitable. The doors, windows, and sliding doors all had hand prints & dirt everywhere. The floor downstairs, staircase, bedrooms, and bathrooms had not been cleaned or moped. "My friend and I stayed at Casa Sunbreak on a recent road trip loop through Baja Sur and absolutely loved it! The pictures and description made us choose it, and the real life experience made us love it! The location is perfect. "Our family of 3 really enjoyed our stay. We loved the rooftop with stunning views of the sea and city. The beautiful gated neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. My 9 year old son loved the pool. The beds were comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. We even met some very helpful and kind neighbors. We would definitely love to stay again!"

"Unit was in a gated community where we felt very safe. Shout out to Security Guard Efrain who was very helpful in getting us taxis and assistance when the door to one of the bathrooms locked us out! While is was a walkable distance to the Malecon, we chose to taxi due to many unfriendly dogs and questionable neighborhoods along the way, not to mention super steep hill.
