"What a beautiful hotel in a picturesque beach town! Splurge to get a room with a view! Staff was amazing and friendly! Breakfast was delicious-coffee, breads, cheese, sausage, fruit, and tortilla. We walked into town to enjoy fresh grilled seafood. 15th century building with so much character! Would stay again ! "

"I have no idea why this place has mixed reviews - I thought it was excellent. Location was amazing - right in the town centre - the room was bright and clean and actually really nice- of course there was a buzz and hubbub from the street below but it didn't go in ridiculously late or detract from a good night's sleep, the beds and pillow were comfy, everything was fine. In addition, the hostel has a fast lift, the auto check-in works like a dream; the price was good (around 60€ for 2 pax) and messages were generally answered quickly via the Hotels app. It would perhaps be useful to be told that luggage sent ahead will be left on the 2nd floor terrace near the reception desk - we had a brief panic on arrival, not having had that info, but a WhatsApp message sorted things out within a few minutes. There is a launderette directly opposite the hostel (think it said it closes at 8.30pm). "

"The room had two bedrooms and four beds for two of us. Super spacious (more space than we expected) and comfortable. The bathroom had a newly renovated, modern look and felt pleasant. We had a good night sleep and quite pleased with our stay. "

"Impeccable property with exceptional design and comfort. Great attention to detail. The property is located in a beautiful area and would be an excellent retreat for writers or reflection. Truly enjoyed our visit. I was sorry to miss the Michelin Star restaurant on property but the bistro was excellent. "

"Even though the square was super busy and noisy, rooms at the back are perfectly quiet at night after the last train. Had to wait a bit for a space in the car park but this was due to los Reyes Magos so probably it is normally no problem. Very good shower and bed. The front desk is only open at limited hours but there is a 24 hour number to call and check-in/out is very efficient. Breakfast next door is good, even if it is a little later to open than ideal (there are also some limited kitchen facilities in the corridor)"

"Absolutely fantastic spot out of the hustle and bustle of San Sebastien which is only 20 min away by taxi. The staff at this hotel are incredibly helpful and friendly and really made the stay wonderful. The spa is top notch, as is the food! "
