"Saint Martin is a really great property, it might come off as a little old or outdated to some people due to the carpet choices and some of the bathroom fixtures, but for the location and price that is not a problem, and in fact may even add to its charm. It is one of the larger rooms I’ve stayed in during my stay traveling through Europe. The bedding was thick, comfortable and felt rather luxurious. Most importantly it felt clean and safe. Is this the four seasons or ritz no, not even close but...

"It was a nice place to stay and convenient to have a beer/wine vending machine, however it was far from the city centre, about 40 minutes by bus and tram. Getting back in the evening was also difficult as the buses didn't run late and we had to walk about 15 minutes from the last bus stop. There is nothing worth seeing around and limited food options, so there's no value in being so far from the city centre aside from a slightly lower price. Breakfast was good (13 euros extra). "This was not an exclusive kind of hotel but it was very fresh and the service standard was outstanding. I am 73 years old and have stayed at hotel all over the world but very seldom experienced this kind of service level. If I ever will come back to Colmar I will for sure book at this hotel once again.
