This was an ideal hotel for a two night stay in Edinburgh for a court appearance. Comfortable room, great breakfast, 20 minute walk to the court in Parliament Square. One good and reasonably priced dinner in the restaurant.

Amazing trip. Great stay at the hotel. Very close to the venue we had booked. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Room lovely and clean had a great sleep. Breakfast was wonderful. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

The hotel is very conveniently located. My room was fairly dirty, there were drip and dirt marks all over the walls, some of my towels had stains on them and the ceiling fan was crusted with dust. My room faced out into a parking lot and it was very noisy. Bottle collections at 6am and clashing noises through the night. I also am not sure the ac/heating system worked.

The hotel is in a prime location to access the old city. Just be forewarned that it is on the main bus route for Edinburgh, so there's a constant parade of buses moving to and from the center of the city. There's a playhouse next door so you may get noise-ness after a show. Our only frustration with the room was the bathroom. The shower pressure was quite low. There is no overhead shower. One of the towel rack holders was busted. I would not hold our towel. Also the sink is very small.

Breakfast was awesome, and the staff treated us very nicely. Everyone was always friendly, welcoming, and greeted us with a smile. However, the room was quite small. Even after the daily room cleaning, body wash was not replenished. I also reported on the first day that two USB charging ports were not working, but even after two days, they were still not repaired. I also tried calling a couple of times for room service, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. Overall, the staff were excellent and very courteous, but there are some areas where the hotel could improve the room amenities and service responsiveness
