"Good coffee and breakfast was better than expected"

"Checked in loved the hot tub hours but once we got there the water was dirty lukewarm and jets didn’t work much. Super disappointing as we chose hotel for the hot tub. Sign on mirror says they change sheets and towels daily, no one ever came, I called for sheets and towels to make the bed myself she never came, went down to the front desk asked again, she came up but with the wrong size sheets . The next morning on check out date the maid was basically pounding on the door when we opened she wanted to clean it, it was 9 am on the day of checkout. Go to leave and they never registered our truck so we couldn’t get out without going back in. Staff was rude too. I won’t ever go back "

"Brrrrrrr……..I don’t know if this is the regular routine, but there was zero heat turned on when we arrived. According to the portable heater we plugged in, it was 55 degrees in there. This is an old home with old heating. Mostly baseboard electric. The first night was cold for everyone other than the person that slept in the smaller upstairs room. Between the baseboard heat and the portable heater, it was ok the first night. We had to open the oven door and run the electric oven to help heat the place when we were home. It took two days to get it comfortable. The door didn’t function properly upon arrival, but I will give them kudos for taking care of that situation quickly and effectively. It is as advertised other than arriving with no heat turned on in Colorado in the winter. Very close to downtown and the bar/restaurant scene as well as a bunch of fast food options. "

"The room was fairly clean, but hair in the corners and stuck to the duvet was kind of yucky. There was also a musty/moldy smell in the room that was hard to get rid of. But we appreciated the inexpensive rate, close access to Colorado College, free parking, frig and microwave, and hair dryer included. "
