"Great views of the sea but hotel is now looking dated. Room very good with excellent shower. Be warned the underground parking is very tight especially if you are not on the first floor. Would stay again if I was v traveling through royal. Excellent restaurant recommendation from receptionist , opposite casino 2 minutes away from hotel."

"The room was very tired and dirty. The carpet was filthy and very stained. The toilet seat was yellow and sticky and previous occupants urine stains on the rim of the toilet bowl. My husband had to wipe the toilet rim and seat before we could use it. Disgusting. When we complained to the manager he shook his head and sent the young receptionist to speak to us. We asked to move rooms but they advised that the hotel was fully booked. We therefore checked out the following morning. "

"Great hotel close to the motorway. Not sure if it was expedia or the hotel that did not notify us that the chef was on annual holiday. The meal provided was good and breakfast excellent. Will return again when hopefully the chef will be in residence."
