"Room was nasty! It was blood on the walls sheets and pictures. It looked like crime scene unit left and forgot to get the samples. There was no way to get our money back and it smelt like an old abandon cigarette filled home."

"Tough week for the staff. The pool was accidentally emptied and out of service for our stay, the elevators, which are very nice and smooth, stopped working for a couple of hours one morning. We stayed 5 nights and our room was cleaned twice, but done very well with a personal touch when they did it. The breakfast is ok, good coffee. I suggest a chair or two for the designated smoking areas. The staff was the most impressive part of our stay. If I had to say what's missing would be a GM that is hands on overseeing daily operations. That kid seemed to rest on the check in clerks. I will come back."

"The room was clean and there was plenty of parking. It felt safe and although it was near the highway and a busy street I didn’t hear a lot of traffic. The on and off ramp was close to so getting on the highway was super easy."

"Hotel is very dated furniture/carpet wise, our room smelt horrible, I had to buy air freshener. The air-conditioning was very very noisy & mouldy in the vents defo need a good clean or replacing. Breakfast had no real choices, waffles or cereal nothing for my friend who needs gluten free. Miles from anywhere, Ubers to get to places like Canal Street/ Bourbon Street cost between $18-$40 each way. Told there were no buses by hotel staff but if you walk towards the industrial area for around 20mins you can get buses for $1.25c."

"When we check in lady was very helpful she had to which our rooms because there was no hot water the room they gave us had no microwave, no TV. Curtains were messed up refrigerator wasn't working"

"Room was not up to date, bath exhaust fan not working, light bulbs out, old sucker sticks in drawers, outside lights didn’t work. Their policy on housekeeping is “Upon Request”. We stayed 4 nights. Asked for housekeeping after the 2nd night…no service. Asked again after the third night…nothing. Staff apologized…I blame the ownership. Staff up! Especially for special events like JazzFest. We will not return."

"It doesn't look like much but it was a great stay! Air conditioning worked great. Room was clean. Great shower pressure. The little food mart outside the gas station in front is awesome! Really couldn't ask for more. Great value for the money."
